I had a disappointing experience at this Dunkin’ location earlier this week during the morning drive-thru. Around 6:05–6:10 AM on Monday, I ordered a medium coffee and a bagel with cream cheese and paid with cash.
When I got to the window, the employee took my cash and held my change in her hand while first giving me my coffee. She then walked away from the window, came back with my bagel, handed me the bag, and only after that gave me my change while quickly saying they “didn’t have any pennies.” The comment was said so quickly that I had to ask her to repeat it.
If a store does not have coins for proper change, that should be communicated before completing the transaction, not after the customer has already paid and there is a full line of cars behind them. It puts the customer in an awkward position when they are clearly trying to get to work during the morning rush.
Also, holding someone’s cash/change and then handing out food at the same time is not good practice. I previously worked drive-thru at McDonald’s, and we were trained not to handle money and food simultaneously because of cross-contamination concerns, even if the food is in a bag.
The amount may have only been a few cents, but the issue is the principle and the way it was handled. As someone who lives in the area, this is my neighborhood Dunkin’, and I expect better customer service and professionalism.
I hope the store manager or franchise owner reviews this situation and addresses it with staff, because basic customer service and proper food handling practices should be taken seriously.

The coffee is consistently good. I pass up 3 Dunkin stores just so that I can get my coffee at this location. The employees are awesome. The store has recently been remodeled and is kept very clean. The staff is friendly and they always have a smile on their face. They are greatly appreciated!

We purchased bagels and donuts from this DD. The bagels were stale and hard and the pink frosted donut barely had frosting. Unacceptable. This is the second time we got very poor quality donuts/bagels.

You can tell just by this picture alone that this hot chocolate is nothing but hot water with a little bit of flavor. This is my second time going out of my way from the nail salon to pick up something from this Dunkin’ Donuts, and twice I have been disappointed with some watered down hot chocolate. Thanks for the boiled water.

45 minutes before they close, the woman at the drive-through tells me that they are out of donuts. I drove 20 minutes out of my way to go there. She doesn’t apologize. She doesn’t offer anything else. She doesn’t say come back tomorrow and we will give you a free donut. Nothing. They could care less about me. How can Dunkin’ Donuts not have donuts? Horrible experience!

I’ve held off for many years leaving a review on this Dunkin. This has to be one of the worst Dunkin’s I’ve ever been to. Simply said, poor service, seems like their donuts are never fresh and they can’t ever get an order correct via drive through line. If you ask to correct the order, they are argumentative despite having receipt right in front of them. I try to avoid at all cost

The coffee wasn’t very hot and I asked for Splenda and there was no sweetener at all in my coffee. Also the other day my nephew went for a large coffee and he said his was so sweetened with sugar that he could not even drink it, And Glad I only had a medium size.

Ordered a coffee and wake up wrap, both of which came to me completely wrong. No butter pecan in my coffee and no egg on the wake up wrap. When I told them my order was wrong they just stared at me and finally said well that’s what you ordered. The girl (maybe manager) and younger guy did not offer to fix it because they said that’s what I ordered and continued to stare us down like we’re idiots so i left because im not gonna just sit here and get a stare down for wanting my order fixed. I frequent this Dunkin frequently and order the same thing practically every time. As someone who works with people I know customers can be difficult but I just wanted my order to be correct since I’m paying for it lol.
