Waihi beach sushi Asian cuisine restaurant. Hello. Dear Waihi Beach residents. We are Jin and Hye from Beach Sushi. We are facing a lot of difficulties due to the current situation of Covid-19. So we made a big decision. The cousins family who helped us came to Korea this time. So we decided to close the beach sushi for the time being. We will be back once the Covid 19 is over and the New Zealand border blockade is lifted. And we will reopen as a new beach sushi & Asian food cafe dessert. Until then, I pray that everyone will be healthy and happy. Thank you.

Right as I walked in my whole family said wow as we started at the sushi. The person behind the counter greeted us with a hi and we went to pick our sushi and he told us everything we needed to know like which salad bowl is which. I was having a hard time picking what sushi I wanted because it all looked so good when we ate our sushi we knew this was the best sushi in Northland (in our opinion)

Very nice sushi. The fish was fresh and the selection was good to accommodate a vegetarian and a meat eater. Yummy too we were pleasantly surprised by this place and will definitely come back again.

I turned up with my Daughter right at closing time last Thursday (she was really looking forward to try their Sushi), and the young lady who looked in a hurry and was just about to lock the door with bags packed, still took the time to go through what Sushi she had left, and after selecting a couple of packs she even offered us a discount! Very friendly, professional and courteous service, and the Sushi was amazing!

Pretty good sushi and teriyaki salmon don, with complimentary miso soup if you dine in. Unfortunately there wasn’t a very wide selection of sushi when we arrived just before 12pm.
