My fussy daughter ate her entire quesadilla and announced that she loved it. My wife had asado tacos and menudo. Excellent. My son had pork tamales. I am not a big fan of tamales, but I ate some of his because they were so good. My asado quesadilla was perfect.
I love their red salsa. It has a smoky flavor and the green salsa made my gums tingle.

The Posole is INCREDIBLE! The meat in the Posole was tender, and it had just the right amount of spice! Also had the Tiacoyo and that blew us away. All three salsa flavors were SO GOOD! We’ve loved here for over a decade and never knew this place existed?? This is our new favorite Mexican Restaurant in the valley? A MUST GO if visiting Phoenix/Mesa for any reason!

The idea is great I had some sopes and a quesadilla with the purple tortilla sadly there was no taste to the food they even had pinto beans instead of black beans, the tortillas are store baught nothing really special, anyone can make at home, the coffee however was really nice! Maybe down the road ill give them a try again, for now im good.

Very delicious food. Came here as we were trying to find Mexican food. This is God’s honest great Mexican food. True gourmet food unlike like I have never had from Mexico. We ordered normal tostadas & bean burrito. I introduced myself to the owner and told him it was my first time coming to La Casa Del Guajolote.
After he brought out our order and we started eating it was all very good typical Mexican food. Salsa bar too so I was really surprised when he brought out an order blie corn tlayacoyos and a guajolote sandwich. We all shared and loved both dishes. We all loved them both. I look forward to discovering more treasures from La Casa Del Guajolote.

This place is AMAZING!!! You want authentic Mexican Food from Hidalgo? Well come on by they have it all from tortas to tacos to burritos to quesadillas!! Their food is sooo delicious! I ALWAYS come here! My favorite has to be the Guajolote! I ALWAYS get a salchicha, egg & cheese guajolote…. TO DIE FOR!!! It’s my FAVORITE!!! I did lately get the Huarache with Schredded Chicken and OMG I thought I was in heaven!! Not to mention their red, green and morita sauce are fenomenal!! I definitely Recommend this Restaurant for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
