I came here once, and unfortunately that will be my last visit. While I do want to acknowledge that the service itself was good and the staff was polite, the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered a torta, and almost immediately after eating it, I started feeling very sick. My stomach began hurting badly right away, to the point where it was impossible to ignore.
That experience completely ruined the meal and left me concerned about the food quality and safety. Getting sick right after eating is not something anyone should have to deal with, especially when dining out. Because of this experience, I would not feel comfortable coming back or recommending this place to others, regardless of how decent the service was. The food quality alone is enough for me to say I would never eat here again.

I had the nachos – with half cabeza (cooked perfectly) and half al pastor (nice slight spice to it). The burritos and tacos also looked amazing, will try next time.
The customer service was great. They made sure i had enough salsa and sides of pickled onions/carrots.
They have a parking lot and plenty of street parking.

Good quality, no frills, taco shop. I got the nachos with half buche and half al pastor. Side of carne asada tacos. I think it was pretty good for a late night bite! The meat was fresh and everything was delicious.

This place make the best burrito of traditional family home make style for burrito…Me and my relatives always come here for dine in and take out also….My mom love the chicken burrito with everything inside of mixing plus no extra salt in it…For myself and my uncle we both love the beef burrito which include everything inside our burritos….The beef was hot n fresh when you eat with the hot chili style sauce….I have try the chicken burrito also and I love it….The owner of this place and worker in this restuarant is so friendly and awesome too…They alway greeting with friendly *hello* n smile ….the place is neat and clean and alway busy too so depend on the time and the date you swing in for burrito…if you still undecided what to get or order to eat…The owner will recommend it some of their favorite dish too…I have try different dishes and I love it….They make the food like a real Mexican traditional culture of family home make style dish…I would give this restuarant 10 plus stars if the rating can scale it up….But they got my highest *5 stars* rate for it…If you have date or hang out with groups of family members and friends too…You all need to come this place for gathering and enjoy it too…Alway say that is happy good food and happy smile in our face…..hehehehe

I’ve known about Tacos Del Chino since El Chino used to have his taco truck in South El Monte. The service here is always 5 stars. Everyone is super friendly and always joking around. The place doesn’t look like much but the food is definitely good and affordable.
Cooking time can range from really quick to semi-slow. I’ve overheard orders of 200 tacos (mostly late night) while I’m ordering that probably back them up! But I don’t mind it because the majority of the time the food is fresh.
As for the food, you can’t go wrong with anything Asada. Especially the mulitas! The pastor has a bit too much sauce for my liking, though. Beware, they will put salsa on all their items so if you can’t handle spice, ask for it on the side. Otherwise, it has a good flavor. Horchata is a must as well. Enjoy!

Place is a good place to eat some Mexican food. Tacos and burritos (asada) were good and were made quickly barely had to wait to get my food. As a first time customer coming here, I was not disappointed with the food and service. Only thing I would complain (not really a complaint) is the front desk/where you order food. Menu is a bit awkward to see.
