There are 4 Starbucks off of I-10 between Wirt, Bingle and Blalock including this location. There are 2 off of 290 at Bingle and 43rd. I order and drink from one of these 6 on a daily basis/EVERYDAY. If you use the Starbucks app, you can mobile order ahead. I love this aspect of the app! You can save your favorite drinks and favorite location and I have the preference of personal cup saved as I bring my own cup. Unless you are PERFECT, there are occasional days that when you order from the mobile app, you could possibly forget your personal cup. My goodness, who knew what a travesty it was to forget your cup?! This is the only location amongst the 6 locations that reprimands you when you forget your cup. When this has occurred at any of the other locations, I apologize and they simply smile and say no problem or no worries and proceed to provide my order in one of their plastic cups. In fact, I would say that I have amazing rapport at the other Starbucks to where they greet me daily. It’s happened 3x here and I am sorry that I forgot my cup but it’s no excuse for the staff to embarrass me and get upset. In the course of the thousands they service, this is NBD! If you enjoy being yelled at in the mornings, please visit this Starbucks.

I visited the Starbucks at 8819 Katie Freeway, Houston, TX 77024.

Nick…not a good guy…your employee at the walk up window didn’t say hi, didn’t say welcome and when I said hi, he wasn’t happy, positive or motivated in any way to help a customer. All he said was, what can I get you? I think I made him frustrated because I didn’t know what the iced coffee was called without the sugar, but I knew I wanted the hazelnut iced coffee with no sugar he said classic… yes sir I don’t want that please can you make it like where there’s no sugar. That because I wasn’t sure about the hazelnut (I don’t drink there all the time) I thought the hazelnut had the cream in it, I didn’t know I had to ask for it. He held up the scanner so I could do my Apple Pay and he says I need you to fill in the tip first. I was like oh sorry it required that I put a tip amount and so that’s what I did. He began making my coffee. When the coffee came to me, it was iced coffee, but black…Embarrassed, I smiled and said I’m sorry, Is there any way you could put cream in there for me I thought that’s what the Hazelnut was. Then he was staring at me and you can tell he was angry. He mumbled something under his breathe. I said, I’m sorry what was that and he said next time tell us. I said I’m sorry I don’t usually order from here, I don’t have a problem paying for it. I said you don’t have to catch an attitude with me man. I said what’s your name? He wouldn’t tell me and shut the window in my face. I didn’t realize he had it in his apron. I don’t know why you’re acting that way with me man. It’s not like I could not afford to pay for the cream. I gave him a tip and then I felt stupid for doing so because of the way he talked to me. After reading the reviews. I’ve realized that I’m not the only one I guess. Please, if somebody could talk to Nick and his manager and let him know you shouldn’t treat a nice customer that way. Maybe the people business is not for Nick. Maybe he needs to do something different…that may be better for the other Customers.

The people are nice here, I’m just a little frustrated that i just opened my oatmeal and there’s no agave when I said i wanted everything except brown sugar. How am i going to eat dry oatmeal. Also I’ve been here a few times and they never have blueberries. I don’t think you should have an item on the menu charging the same price if you don’t have the ingredients. Other items I’ve been here have been good, I’m just over the blueberry thing.

Had a great experience here today. The man that was my barista was so helpful. He helped me choose a drink and it was delicious. It’s so nice to experience customer service at its best. Keep up the great work. The location is very cute and line always moves fast. One of my absolute favorite locations.

I ordered a grande iced coffee, oatmeal, and egg bites. They didn’t give me a spoon for the oatmeal but way more egregiously they gave me an iced americano—I’ve had this happen before when they didn’t have iced coffee but I find iced americanos disgusting. I 100% would have just ordered something else no big deal if they had told me they were out of iced coffee.

Would not recommend this location, drive thru line is always long and your car is on the feeder road. Service today was so disrespectful. The young man told me I was ordering my drink the wrong way and then tried to tell me I didn’t order 2 but 1. When I so clearly stated 2. Will not come back when there’s another location down the street. Don’t waste your time here

If you want to pay $6 for a cup of ice. Come to this location. I just tried this one because there’s always a line of Vehicles and people fight to get in the drive thru line when the walk up window is open and empty.

I usually never have a problem with this Starbucks but I’ve recently had this particular location not fill my orders up like they usually do. Taste is pretty spot on to every other Starbucks I’ve been to, (which is great) it just sucks they’re starting to skimp out. No sips taken, just received my drink like this. Disappointing.
