I frequent here and let me tell you. THE ATMOSPHERE, FOOD, AND DRINKS, are top tier. I have not had any bad experiences with the food, or drinks. Every one is friendly and inviting down to the hosts. Tony knows his cigars. Britt makes the best Old Fashioned in the city be far. Best place for relaxation, music. Ambiance, good food.

If you are looking for a great place to have a great cigar, good food and awesome vibe this is the place. The service was outstanding. The drinks were excellent. The food… Omg the food. We had the cornbread to start and it was one of the most delicious cornbread we have ever had. The brisket tacos were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend getting reservations! This lounge was recommended to us from serveral other people. We will definitely be back when we are in town. Definitely will be back!

My husband and I visited The Lion’s Den during our anniversary weekend, and overall we had a really good time. The atmosphere is smooth, sexy, and laid-back — the kind of place where the music hits just right and you can actually unwind. They had a great mix of hip-hop and R&B playing, which set the tone perfectly for the night.
The drinks were strong and well-made, and the food surprised us in the best way — flavorful, hot, and perfect for snacking while you chill and smoke. We tried the egg rolls and wings, and both were really good.
The only reason we’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because seating was a bit of a challenge. The first table we were given was tucked off to the side near the kitchen and felt too secluded. We really wanted to be in the mix with the rest of the lounge, so it took a minute before we were moved. Once we were settled, though, everything else flowed nicely.
Overall, The Lion’s Den is definitely a vibe — good music, good drinks, good food, and a comfortable spot to enjoy a cigar. We’d absolutely come back, just with a little patience for seating.

The staff is amazingly nice and there is a great selection of cigars and drinks. I had the raspberry cheesecake and it was so delicious! I also had the wings that were just as good. I drank a pink lady mule and it was a nice string drink thay still was sweet. I really had a nice time. There is an outdoor patio as well. Wednesday nights are very chill but Thursday and Saturday ate more of a crowd, so choose your days wisely. This is my favorite cigar bar in RVA, and I don’t smoke cigars lol.

The decor and ambiance along with the lighting was a cozy dining experience. The fried oysters were crispy and accompanied by a remoulade sauce with blue cheese.

Nice seasoned crowd who knows how to dress to impress. Stopped by for a birthday dinner and it was a nice crowd. Limited seating so make reservations and keep in mind they close at midnight. The DJ keep people dancing despite the fact that there is no dance floor. Servers were quick and maintained their tables well. There are plenty of TVs so a variety of entertainment. Cigar smell is not overbearing. I would travel from Charlotte again to check it out.

If you’re a regular at this place it’s fine. If not, you’ll be standing around.. never getting a seat..never being offered a drink by the men..Just there in everyone’s way . Lol I believe the men just come to look good for each other. Double shot of 1800 was 30 bucks.

This was my first time visiting. I arrived at 8p and there was no seating not even at the bar. This place has a very nice aesthetic but VERY limited seating. I’m not sure if you should make reservations before arriving, or simply inquire about the times they aren’t so busy. This place is about the size of Bellos nightclub. Reluctantly there was three pub tables by the back door and I was able to sit there until the reserved party arrived. Surprisingly they never came and I was able to sit there all evening. They do offer outdoor seating but of course it’s still pretty chilly outside. They did have heat lamps outside but they weren’t in use, so maybe you’ll need to request that. Although I was able to sit by the back door I really felt like I was sitting in time out. I ordered fried oysters and a dirty martini. Overall this lounge was nice but I’ll never go back around 8p.

Great cigar spot. It’s not as big as it looks, but it is very upscale. The seating is for smaller groups, but they did accommodate the best they could, which was very much appreciated. Tony, the wine and cigar expert, was very helpful and had some cigars there that were specific to the area. The DJ was fire and kept the party going till midnight. The food is soooo good and the presentation was spectacular. The drinks were great. We’ll definitely be going back here. It’s the must go to spot in Richmond.

I did not eat here however the food looked delicious. The decor and atmosphere was very nice. The service was top notch. Both DeMolly and Unique were very attentive. If I lived in Richmond I would definitely have a membership here.
