Our server Gladys could have done a tad better,
It began when i told her that it was our first time there, and seemed as if it didn’t matter, no warm welcome, nor did she take an opportunity to fill us in on any house favorites or suggestions, There was a time when I seen her with her phone to her ear, and it wasn’t the credit card machine either. We still tipped her 20%.
On the way out, I asked the hostess if she could tell me who the manager in charge or general manager was and she said she wasn’t sure, how could an employee not be aware of their chain of command? A moment later, I had the wonderful opportunity to be greeted by Ms. brenda, who represented herself as the general manager, i asked to speak to her outside since the music was unbearably overbearing, i told her how our visit went starting from the music which was being played over the game, then she had told me that it wasn’t true, then, a few minutes later she got on the walkie talkie and told someone to switch back the game Because the music was playing while the game was on, at one point during our visit I did see her on the phone as well, and not once in the hour and a half during our visit did she walk the floor asking patrons how they were doing or represent herself as manager as most managers with etiquette do. I told her the food was amazing And that I would most definitely return, however I would only return on her days off, She did inform me that she granted me the happy hour Taco price, even though there’s no happy hour during events, which i didnt know, Once again, the food was ☆☆☆AMAZING☆☆☆
After our wonderful interaction i promised her that I would write a thorough review. With 2.3 Million views, i only have written Two non 5 reviews.
Attention: Mírame, you have much room for improvement, especially General manager Brenda’s uniform which was an oversized long sleeved, low hanging sweatshirt, definitely not the attire of a prideful G.M.
Since they don’t have a lot of liquors and beers, it would be a good idea to have a menu of what they do have available. There’s a drink menu, but it’s mostly a list of some of their mixed drinks. For me it had more of a club vibe than a Sports Cantina. Yes they have big screens, but I wasn’t feeling it.
In a way I’m glad I didn’t stay. Had 2 drinks and dipped out. They sneak a 3% fee on your bill for I don’t know what. Plus you have to tip of course on top of that.
Also had a somewhat similar experience at the door as someone else that wrote a review. We were walking in and got carded. We’re older folks with gray hair. My girl was told If you didn’t bring ID we can not let you in. Like that. I mean if you look under 30 or 40 I get it, but we’re over 50 & 60 with white hair – get real! Lol
Anyway, I don’t know. Maybe I’ll give it a go again some day in the future, but I doubt it. If I should go back and enjoy it, I’ll be sure to update my review.
One of the best parts? They have the Dodgers game on! It’s a fantastic new place to catch the game with friends, enjoy great food, and sip on incredible drinks. The staff here truly knows their craft—both the bartenders and servers are friendly, attentive, and passionate about making sure you have an amazing experience.
The food and drinks are top-notch; I can’t get enough of their creative cocktails. My favorite? The Incredible Hulk — a perfect blend of Hennessy and hypnotic that’s absolutely delicious. It’s hands down one of the best drinks I’ve ever had.
The ambiance is great for hanging out with friends, watching a game, or just relaxing after a long day. Everything from the decor to the music contributes to a really enjoyable environment.
If you’re in the Bellflower area, you have to check out Mirame Sport Cantina. I’m already planning my next visit—this place deserves five stars. Do yourself a favor and stop by—you won’t regret it!
What u didnt like that they hold a 50 dollar deposit
They charge 2 dollars for a water bottle instead of giving you a cup of water with ice.
Also they charge a 3% on debit card use and they dont even tell you till you see the receipt
First time visiting and I’m highly disappointed, I get it it’s busy but that was a bit disrespectful to serve a customer cold food.
