Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. The food, especially the meat, was quite dry, bland, and seemed overcooked. There were also several flies around our table, which made the meal uncomfortable. Service was just okay — no one checked on us or offered drink refills until another dish arrived. The portion sizes were generous, but overall the quality and attention to detail just weren’t there. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good Mexican dining experience.

From out of town here for the state shoot at Lasada lodge googled this place and it was really good. A little hole in the wall place but the food was amazing!

Stopped here for a quick bite on a long road trip along I70. It is located about 8 minutes from the highway in a small town. Food came out quick and super hot. It was delicious and relatively well priced! Salsa and chips were provided upon seating. I had the pollo bandido and was very satisfied with the portion size. The restaurant atmosphere was also very relaxed, perfect to destress a little bit during the trip. Once you finish, you go up to the front counter to pay. Definitely an amazing restaurant that I hope to revisit one day on another road trip across Kansas.

I stopped for takeout after a long day of driving. The chicken fajitas salad was great. Not much lettuce, but that was fine. It was filled with broccoli and mushrooms. I got the cooked version which was a great choice. It’s plenty for dinner and lunch tomorrow (although I tempted to eat more since it is so good).

Fantastic place around the halfway mark to Denver. I ate there on the way there and the way back. Great salsa, great lunch specials and attentive service. I was most impressed by their “molcajete” dish. Served in the traditional dish and piled high with chorizo, grilled chicken and steak. One of the better entrees I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant. I loved the feel and the atmosphere. I would eat there often if I lived close.

The food was very good. I had the chicken fajita Loca. It was a delicious combination of chicken, veggies and cheese sauce. I also really enjoyed their queso.

Wow, I think these folks make the best sopapillas I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried hundreds. Literally.
Then there’s the margaritas. Yes! And the chicken fajita suiza grilled with mushrooms and onions. Fantastic!

Got a burrito and the tequito mexicano. Everything was just horrible. Everything tasted real earthy and just nasty. The meat seemed like it was old, sorry but would NOT recommend.

Holy god, this was unbelievably bad… We pulled up and ignored the first red flag: a giant jet black flood of grease running from the roof exhaust down the entire roof and into the parking lot.
Nothing was fresh. The food was obviously frozen for a VERY long time and arrived at the table floating in fluid like it has been crudely reheated in a microwave.
I honestly think this was the worst food I have EVER had at a restaurant. My mind literally wouldn’t even let me eat it, telling me I was risking sickness if I did.
I’m used to small Mexican restaurants like this being a little rough around the edges, but very fresh and tasty… This was horrendous.
