This Long John Silver’s at 101 E Nolana Loop in Pharr (which shares a building with Taco Bell) is the only LJS left in our city, and it’s an important spot for the community.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is in poor condition. There is a persistent unpleasant odor throughout the dining area. Floors and tables are often dirty, and the trash cans continue to smell even after being emptied, as if the odor is absorbed into them. The whole place also smells of humidity and aging infrastructure, giving the impression of neglect.
This location deserves better management and proper maintenance. We want it to succeed, but improvements in cleanliness and upkeep are urgently needed. Hopefully, corporate will step in soon to address these issues.

We purchased a 16 piece fish and chicken family meal which is to serve 7 – 8. We received 7 fish and 5 chicken serving with regular sides not large/family. Most of the sides were out, limited in pick. Looks like management is not as allowing staff to make new batches after a certain time because they’re trying to manage cost/waist. Unfortunately they are doing this at the expense of the customer. What a scam. Time to contact corporate office / Fed oversight and do an audit/store review. This store is located in Pharr, TX. Store is linked to a Taco Bell store number 018021.

Every time that we order on the drive-through there’s always something missing for example You can see on the receipt what it should have didn’t get enough frenchfries on either orders and no hush puppies As you can see on the pictures

Long John silver’s fish is tasty when you order it fresh to order(which I did), I would recommend you ask for everything fresh if you have the time.

They took my order promptly but it took forever to get my food over 30 min to be exact and when I brought this up to the the manager all she said was “oh we called out your number several times we thought you left.” I honestly went for the fish and shrimp with the hush puppies I even ordered extra hush puppies. The manager offered extra fries for the inconvenience but I honestly didn’t touch even the fries that came with the order they were stale and hard not even fresh. I’m very disappointed with the customer service with my visit here they had 3 young ladies just standing around 2 of which took my order and knew that I was still in the restaurant.

I stop here on my way home, but with the people servicing the drive thru at the window, they are hard of hearing or just tired of servicing. I kept asking if they had fountain drink lemonades… I just said Sprite with my order… Wow! They have great meals on the Long John Silver menu and better services inside. Don’t forget to let them know your order name, or you’ll be waiting a long time.
