Came into this location expecting it to be just like any other McDonald’s. We were a little off actually…. The cashier (Donita) was extremely kind and fun to talk to! The food came fast and very fresh. This is by far the best McDonald’s I have ever been too. I will be coming back!

Never met a crew with more disgusting attitude and service In my entire life. And I don’t even write reviews. Sold me 2 Half full LARGE fries undercooked and soaked in oil and wouldn’t give me a refund. Seriously who is in charge of hiring?? They need to be fired too.

I ordered a fish sandwich and it appeared to have been “assembled” by a blind person from six feet away….. Frisbee style. Still delicious but aestheticly not what I’d hoped for.

Restaurant has an extreme amount of flies flying around.. I know it is not their fault but as a restaurant that’s unsanitary and they need to call an exterminator. Even in the area where you cook and prepare the food you can visibly see flies all around. Get someone to spray the restaurant I don’t believe it’s safe for you to be cooking and preparing food and they have bugs around like that

This McDonalds in Dubuque and by far the worst McDonalds I’ve ever had the misfortune of going to. Getting the right order via Drive-thru is always a gamble. No other fast food joint has had a worse record than this particular McDonalds. The one on JFK has always been solid, but this one has been a mess. But for the first time in years I decided to check out the place inside. What a mistake.
I was literally the only person inside during mid-day. The place was absolutely filthy. Gummed up nozzles on the soda dispensers, and the ketchup/napkin table was a disaster zone. I’ve never seen anything like it. An employee getting a drink commented how “people liked to make it messy” as if that was a comfort. Out of curiosity I tried the ketchup dispenser and out came a frothy orange substance which I promptly threw away.
Most of the tables were not cleaned at all, found one that was the least offensive. My burger was fine but the fries were cold, practically lower than room temperature.
Edit: Nearly a year later I want to update my review. Whatever the manager has done has worked. I bought a double quarter pounder a few days ago and it looked the photo on the menu. Might have been one of the best double quarter pounders I’ve ever had at McDonalds. Been here a few times between my review and now and its night and day difference. I would recommend this location now easily.

I ordered a plain hamburger, a double cheeseburger, a big mac and a small fry in the drive through. I got home and found a plain double hamburger, a big Mac with no sauce and a small fry with no salt. I went back and told them they forgot some of the things I ordered and they wanted to dispute the recipt, which showed the wrong order. They said I got what I paid for. So I said fine! Give me a plain hamburger and a double cheese burger! And I paid again the second time around. I got home and had not a plain hamburger, but a cheese burger and a double cheese burger. Might have lost a customer. We’ll see. They all had accents, looked like foreigners, seemed to be horsing around. Loud distracted giggling

We went through the drive thru. They told us to pull ahead. Had to wait ten minutes. Then when we got home my husband’s sandwich wasn’t in the bag! So beware you might not get all your food. So annoying!
