A lovely little gem tucked in where I did not expect to find one. The food here is excellent for the price and the ingredients are both authentic and include options I didn’t expect in most Mexican restaurants like lengua (braised tongue).
Tried the lengua. The tongue was amazingly flavorful and nicely cubed for the burrito. It ends up slightly drier than shredded meats, but the flavors are delightful. Their guacamole is both plentiful and has excellent flavor.
Dinner prices run 20 and up if you add guacamole and soda. So, come expecting sit down prices, not fast food prices. However I feel it’s worth the price for the quality of food.

OMG!! I had seen this place open, so I decided to stop to check it out, what a complete disappointment, this is by far the very worst Mexican food I had in a very long time, it blows my mind that the people cooking must not have any kind of sense of taste when they make the food.
Let’s start with the tacos de lengua… I was hoping for a good one, sadly the lengua had absolutely no taste, it’s like all they do it’s to boil it in water without any spices to enhance the flavor. And then I thought, maybe the salsita would help the taste, but no!, I had never seen such a water down tasteless salsa, the green and red both were horrible, really bad Mexican rice, the refried beans were ok.
Now my wife ordered 1 taco de pollo, 1 de picadillo and 1 chorizo, sad to say she told they were also really bad, only was able to eat one bite of each, she said the chorizo especially had a very nasty taste, and prices are high, if you are going to charge so much, at least make decent food

Literally this food (enchiladas) taste like I’m eating a dry tortilla covered in cheese. Oh wait that’s what I’m eating. My boyfriend paid 18.99 for literal bland slop in a container when I can go down the street to super burrito and get one 100x better for about 10 dollars less. This place is nuts. I tried to give it another chance here and it’s blown. Absolutely horrible food at ridiculous prices. Take your money elsewhere. There’s no love or attempt in this food

My order was messed up. I had called to complain. There was mold in my nachos and the tamales were extremely hard like they’ve been old for weeks. I called to complain and they said that they will give me two new dinners. Well when I came in to get those two new dinners they said that they were only crediting me for the avocado not for the dinner when there was they messed up on the whole order and we were LOYAL customers since they opened. I went to BOYOS and got great service and great food. Try BOYOS yall

I like visiting this establishment. It’s a neighborhood spot. They serve quickly with a kind smile and the refried beans are tasty (the sign of a good latino restaurant). I’ve had several dishes on the menu but my favorite thing to order here is some beans, rice and guacamole. These with the complimentary salsa and chips are filling and tasty and I’m good to go. My only qualm is that there’s a toddler that belongs to the proprietors that is always roaming randomly around the restaurant and sometimes playing ball around the eating area. I do realize that it’s a family establishment but last time he tried to relinquish me of my chips and salsa and that’s a big no-no. Ever tried to take a hungry dogs bone when it’s in his mouth? Yep that’s the same response you’ll get from me if you touch my plate while I’m eating. Heck…I don’t even want you looking at it. I just might growl . Other than that I really like this place. Prices are very fare, food is good , restroom is clean and the staff is great. Parking available in side lot, you can watch movies while you eat and yes I will be returning
