So I ordered rolled tacos I had been craving them for so long when I got them I took a bite they were s good untill… Yeah the crema or sour cream was bad I took the plate to the girl and told her about it she was nice enough to change my plate bruh when I bitt them again the salsa had gone bad as well so disappointed. I was so hungry and that took my appetite away for good. Got a tres leches cake ate that that was good at least.

Eh. We ordered green chile enchiladas and some tacos. The salsas were good, enchiladas were presented well with cheese and sour cream, side of rice and beans. Flavor and quality of meats was not very good. Carnitas, very fatty/gristly, not much seasoning going on. Chicken taco, dry boiled chicken, no marinade or anything interesting there. Taco al pastor – this was marinated and had better flavor, but no pineapple, no onion. Carne asada was ok. Tacos were $3 each. I just happened to be on this side of town. Probably wouldn’t go back. There are far too many better options in up and down Federal.
The cashier who took our order was friendly. The place itself was clean. There were black and white classic Mexican movies playing, which I liked. Wanted to like this place, but the meat really needs to be better.
Looks like they’re in the middle of rebranding. Showed up as Mi Ranchito which was still on the interior sign, but the exterior sign was El Gallito 2.

My first time here I ordered 3 al pastor tacos and they sucked. I decided to give him my second chance, this time I was really hungry so I ordered the chicken enchiladas plate. I had to force myself to eat it Just to kill the hunger. I didn’t even finish it, it was that bad. They ruined one of my most favorite dishes. Now I see why it’s always empty. The star ratings they got does not match the food quality.

Now called a different name “Gallito” Delicious tacos, fresh ingredients. Love the nopales and cebollita side. Had the melon agua fresca, really good. Will definitely come back.
