Ordered a bacon cheese slice and a regular cheese slice for my son. As soon as he picked up the bacon slice, all the cheese and bacon slid right off. I called just to let them know, thinking they’d appreciate the feedback for next time, maybe give a credit for the next time I return.
The response from the owner was honestly more upsetting than the pizza. He was rude, said he didn’t agree with me, and acted like he didn’t understand what I was talking about. I even offered to send a picture and he said no. He first said he’d give me a credit, then changed his mind and said he wasn’t doing that.
At that point, it wasn’t about the money or the slice. It was about how it was handled. No apology, no accountability, nothing.
I’ve ordered from here for years and have used them for large party catering, so this was really disappointing. Customer service matters, and this experience just didn’t reflect that.

Ingredients and workers must have changed recently. Had a Buffalo chicken pizza today that had about 1/16 thickness of bread for the base and about 1/4in of cheese, an unbalanced equivalent for pizzas.

Mr. Crispy’s is my go to. The Pizza is delicious and Crispy. The salads are amazing. The hero’s and wraps are delicious especially the Chicken Parm Vodka which is a favorite of mine. They have the best Garlic Knots around. You will not be disappointed with this gem. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

The pizza was good from this place in the past. Tonight I picked up 2 pies for $58. A Sicilian Pepperoni & a Buffalo chicken pizza that appeared too large to fit in the box. So what do you do when the pizza is too large, you fold it so it fits. I called to let them know that I was not happy with the condition of the pizza. All they could offer is an apology. Never again will they see a $$ of my money. Both pizzas were very soggy!

Wife and I ordered two small pies and a large house salad.
Salad- definitely premade and left in a fridge, we asked for no red onions and salad came with them but they were discolored. Lettuce was green but not crisp/fresh. Salad was mostly lettuce, disappointing but we had to get our greens.
Pizza- focaccia pizza unfortunately was thick, doughy, and lacked flavor. No fresh plum tomatoes on the slice like the menu says. It wasn’t remotely focaccia and the only thing that separated it from a normal slice was a sprinkle of dried parsley and basil. Not what we expected and didn’t enjoy.
Bbq Chicken Pizza was unfortunately similar thick, doughy and lacked flavor. The chicken was fresh and had good texture. The sauce tasted bland, and just reminded us of Kraft BBQ sauce nothing interesting and acidic. Not what we expected and didn’t enjoy.
The Service- Our favorite part of the experience by far, staff was kind and welcoming. The gentleman who I assume was the owner was great conversation and very nice. A swath of regulars came in and were greeted in a kind manner. This alone is worth us giving Mr. Crispy another chance.
TLDR – Great staff, not the greatest pizza. Hoping for crispy, thin and more flavor on next attempt. Worth a second try.

No atmosphere. Just a few hard tables. But the best pizza in Rockland. And Rockland has pretty good pizza. Pepperoni pizza comes smothered in pepperoni. One slice should be your meal for the day. Master pizza craftsmen. Very friendly counter staff

**So now you get called a liar Over six weeks later in the middle of the night when you had the receipt from your purchase and yes, there was a delivery fee in there too because you know why not that’s what they do so my price was correct but thank you. Not sure if this owner or manager is doing rage review replies in the middle of the night but since I woke up, I’m happy to reply. That is exactly what I paid and it is overpriced and not worth it so you can call my joke a review all you want, but I guarantee you many people feel the same way and your response only further proves my point.
Prices have gone way up since change of hands. Phone service for takeout and delivery is bad, they don’t listen. The order is never right. When you call back and let them know and ask the owner to call you, they don’t. Try anywhere but here. Pizza in Rockland is bad but this place is a joke.
Update as of 9/15/25 it is now $38 for a large pizza with one topping and a 2 liter to be delivered. That is absurd, especially when it’s never cooked correctly

Took an hour ride from East Rutherford, NJ to try out Mr. Cristy’s Pizza/Restaurant. The Pizza was absolutely fantastic. Penne Vodka was out of this world and the Shrimp Alfredo over pasta my wife absolutely loved.
They also have these deep fried garlic knocks which were our first time having, also were great. The service was very very good and the owner Chris comes out to check on you to make sure you are happy. I highly recommend this restaurant..
