Well half that pizza was gone but I took a photo anyways!! I’m so impressed with their pizza .. that nice crispy crust that isn’t 5 feet thick!! It’s JUST RIGHT. I got banana peppers and sausage and I was quite pleased! Also your sauce!!! Oh my ! Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meals! Haddock was very tasteful and the special pizza was perfect! Side salads were a generous size. We had a lot of leftovers! Service was great and everyone was friendly!

I have been searching forever for the simplest request. All I wanted was a decent pepperoni calzone, seems simple enough but apparently difficult to do. I have received ones that were completely raw in the middle, one was the completely wrong ingredients in the middle, some for whatever unknown reason don’t even use ricotta for some reason, it has been such a struggle.
So I made my same simple order at green onion today of a calzone with extra pepperoni. What i received was so far beyond my expectations. It was perfectly golden on top, filled with the perfect ratio of meat vs mozzarella and ricotta. The flavor was perfect, a little greasy as expected with the pepperoni. Even the sauce, which i typically don’t even use, was fantastic! Slight kick to it, not too sweet and not too acidic. It was such a great combo! What a pleasant surprise I will absolutely be back. I am so happy I stopped by!….. I would have shared a picture but it accidently disappeared too fast

Great Greek style pizza! Excellently prepared and served in a classic Connecticut restaurant. I grew up eating in places like this and Green Onion is a fantastic example. I loved the pepperoni!!

Every time we dine at the Green Onion there was never a sub-par entrée no matter what we ordered. Marie took could care in helping to make another memorable happening throughout every visit. The place is clean friendly and has the freshest fish and chips. I think the haddock was still flipping on the counter just prior to its cooking . The pizza and eggplant dinners were tasty with always enough for a midnight snack. Stop in with family and friends they’ll happily thank you for their lunch/dinner. The Green Onion never disappoints anyone.

As much as I enjoy going there, I do miss the older traditional sauce and definitely the creamy garlic salad dressing. What I got last time was not the same as what used to be. I still enjoy the pizza and grinders!

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs, coleslaw, and chicken parm. The woman working the counter was extremely friendly and personable. The price point is nice and low. The meatballs were beautifully done, two large meatballs that had been simmering in the sauce, tightly packed but tender and tasty. The chicken parm looked great, two large chicken breasts, tender and cooked well. If you like melted cheese (I do) then you will enjoy that aspect also. I just felt the sauce could have had a little more flavor. On a scale of 0-10 I would rate this 7.1.

Went with my friend’s mom for late lunch. Had wonderful service and grinders. Asked if there was anything needed during our lunch time there. Even other staff at check out made sure we had a great experience. Thank you green onion for always giving great food. Only thing missing is some delivery drivers. We need a place that delivers in the area

The last time we were there … the very heavy set manager was yelling at the waitresses the entire time we were there… very loud, rude, and disrespectful to staff…
Haven’t been back since… I tell everyone I know to avoid the place… TRY THE PIZZA PALACE ON ROUTE 12 A MILE NORTH NEXT TO THE GAS STATION… FOOD IS MUCH BETTER AND THEIR SERVICE IS TOP NOTCH !!
