Visited during a typical weekday lunch period with three coworkers. Among the items ordered were the chicken parm sandwich, eggplant parm sandwich, and two cold turkey subs.
The chicken parm and eggplant parm were good sandwiches and reasonably priced.
The footlong turkey sub was below average – It had turkey, lettuce, diced tomatoes, mayo, and swiss cheese in it. It was priced at $17.03 and the swiss cheese did not come with the sandwich, extra had to be paid to include the cheese ($1.25). For a footlong sandwich to be priced at approximately $17 is quite a lot compared to other locations where you can get a much better turkey sandwich at a lower price. Nothing special about this turkey sandwich, however, the chicken parm and eggplant parm were good.
Nice seating area inside the back. Lighting was dim but there plenty of tables/booths to sit at. Overall, not it is an average place for sandwiches. I may come back and try the pasta or hot subs.

This place is amazing!! It’s a hidden gem for sure. The restaurant is small but cozy and so welcoming. The staff is super friendly always! The lasagna soup is to die for and so is the pistachio gelato. My favorite hand made pasta is the ravioli in meat sauce. We also tried the manicotti in vodka sauce, a must for those spinach lovers. A great date night idea!

My husband and I went to Fontina’s during Restaurant Week and we are certainly glad we did! We ordered from the price fixed menu: I had chicken parmagiana and my husband had chicken marsala. Dinner also included a salad and dessert for a great price. Portions were generous and delicious especially the tomato sauce. Our server Adrian was excellent. He was very attentive without hovering and anticipated our needs without us asking. The owner came to our table who was very personable and nice and stated everything served there is made from scratch/homemade. The restaurant itself had a great Italian vibe and the music was relaxing, not glaringly loud. A great experience from start to finish, a definite hidden gem. Highly recommend!

We ate at this restaurant on Sunday before going to see a show. The staff are very nice and accommodating. I requested a change to the Spinach Manicotti dish and it was no problem. Everyone at the table said their food was delicious. This is the second time I have eaten here and I will return. Don’t overlook this unassuming hidden gem for superb Italian food.

I am so picky when it comes to Italian food and I have tried multiple locations until I found this one ! They have new cooks and wow they hired amazing cooks! It’s a must try, don’t let the negative reviews be the reason you don’t try this place! I heard another location who also sells subs is leaving negative reviews on here and I had to try it for myself before I let lies make my judgement and I don’t regret it!! AMAZING food, especially their paninis!! My favorite.

A friend of our family recommended Fontinas when they heard my disgust with primarily chain restaurants in the area. I was looking for delicious sandwiches like the ones from Fontano’s and Graziano’s in Chicago. Fontinas was perfect!
I had the Old World which was amazing. The housemade Italian dressing on the fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, capicola, and prosciutto hit the spot. My wife and one of my kids were big fans of the Chicken Bruschetta and Capri sandwiches as well. My other kid had ravioli with vodka sauce which she loved. We all tried the vodka sauce and thought it should be bottled.
We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes. I know I’ll be coming for that Italian Beef.
