I went there with my mom because she lives their food and I cannot disagree. I had the Ruben with my side the sweet potato fries and she had the Swiss Mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. Our waitress was amazing and very kind to my 88 year old momma. The food was served fresh and hot and delicious. Both sandwiches were made with the perfect blend of ingredients.
We will be going back when they have their cowboy beans and ribs which momma says that’s her favorite special they serve.

Absolutely blown away by the experience here! The staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and full of good vibes.
Now let’s talk about the food, the chicken fried steak and biscuits were hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. You can tell there’s a lot of care and love put into everything they serve.

Our papa loves to eat breakfast here after his doctor’s appointment. He orders their pancakes and eggs. The owner, Monica, always greets him with a hug and smile. I like the hamburger (medium) with gravy and over medium eggs. Wish they had brown gravy, though. Had the coconut pie once. It was yummy!

Don’t waste your time or money. I’d heard that this place was a jewel and had to check it out.
Starting with the chipped plate – an offense that a decent health inspector would frown on – to the raw veg in the omelet… and the super dry biscuit… and the oven roasted flavorless “country” potatoes… sad. The size of the potatoes and pepper/onion combined with the utensils (sorry, had to comment on this as well) made the meal experience even less satisfying.
If you’re wondering if the staff had a chance to make any corrections – they never returned to check on me, not until it was time to drop off the check.
I genuinely enjoy a decent breakfast and will absolutely steer towards the other local options in Show Low

I went there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Monicas is clean and friendly. A great locals atmosphere. I was there with a dozen other people and enjoyed a Christmas party there also. Stacey was the best and served, cleaned up after us and the whole time smiled and made us fell welcome

But the Sweet Potato fries where the best I had ever had. It is clear to me that the kitchen is clean also, because the food was fresh. I highly recommend Monicas!

Diane had the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon. All things enjoyable. Even the eggs had good flavor.
I had the chicken sandwich and changed the bread to toasted sourdough. The bread was really good but the chicken was a little lacking. It seemed to be a pre-formed piece and thin. It was a little tough on the outside where it was grilled. It wasn’t bad but just not up to the standard of everything else. It would be best if it were fresh chicken breast.
The curly fries were seasoned well and very enjoyable.
Chicken besides, we would try this place again.

This place is located where Sweetheart used to be. Monica is an amazing person. Congrats on your own place ! This was my first of many visits to come to this place. I knew when I found out it was you that I would have no disappointment. The food, service, and everything were amazing even with how packed the place was. I look forward to my next visit. It was worth driving an hour and half for lunch at this place.went for lunch today with a friend and business friend as well. Qw both enjoyed yet another great meal
