We stopped in for milkshakes, which were good. The restaurant, however, had the sent of hot oil, and it took quite a while for us to get two milkshakes. The interior was full of wonderful and unique items. Worth the visit if they have done something with the smell.

A quaint place to stop for a meal. While you’re waiting for food there are so many treasures to look at! We enjoyed huckleberry pancakes and biscuits and gravy while we were here. The food was great, the service was nice and homey. Looking at all the trinkets was just as memorable as the meal

The staff that was in the Diner when I first walked in, was extremely friendly and very helpful!! Very relaxed & inviting atmosphere. No wait to sit down and order quickly if that’s what you’re looking for, but also very patient if waiting on others to join you. Sit and enjoy the chit chat or don’t chat, just enjoy the chit on your table.

The place is a trip! Great! It takes you back in time. So much stuff. You got to see this place for yourselves. They took a gas station repair shop and added license plates from the ceiling throughout the place, even in the bathroom. Bowling shoes. Musical instruments. Beer taps. Gas pump. Some much from the past. The owners and the wife especially, explains the many items that are there. They love this place, as you will, too! They sell ice cream and milk shakes, malts. They work 12- 14 hour days. None of their children or grandchildren want to visit them, because they are put to work. They are open for days a week now, because they can’t seem to find people who would put in the hours. Wonder why? Or would even put in less hours. It seems to be the case everywhere we go. Even at the last hotel we stayed at didn’t have our room ready, because the laundry wasn’t done yet. Who would believe that one? So, check out this wonderful place filled to the brim with fun memories of the past!

Very kitschy interior! Fun time looking around as we waited on our order, which seemed to take forever. Service IS slow, but many things to look at as you wait. Def would eat there, again, if ever back in Wallace ID. Fries were awesome! Choc Shake and burgers were good.

Wallace Idaho. Brilliant shop with so any nick nacks. We contributed some clip on Koalas to the shelves while visiting. Wallace is a step back in time and the authenticity and atmosphere of the town is a tribute to the people that live there. We were Aussies visiting during a road trip across the USA in 2019

We visited the weekend of the car show. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed, unprepared and surprised to be as busy as they were. We requested water, but were told they were out cups. (On a BUSY event weekend?!) The service was a bit slow, as the staff seemed to be unable to prioritize duties, customers entry into the establishment and thus who’s order took priority. We did manage to order, and our food was delicious. The burgers were cooked to perfection and the lettuce was crispy and the onion, thick and hot! Yum! Our beers were cold and we loved all of the antiques. I played the jukebox and we took photos in front of the fun house mirror! Overall, we enjoyed our visit, rough start and all. Thank you for a memorable experience.

What a joy! I could spend hours in this place just looking at all the cool stuff. Delicious hamburger and fries Plus down to earth mom-and-pop type service. Get yourself a huckleberry shake to go!
