On 08/31/25 around 1:30pm paid for an iced chamomile tea that sure enough was forgotten about by the guy who took my order. A younger girl saw me sitting and waiting and was nice enough to ask me if I was waiting for something. The guy at the register smirked it off because it was apparently pretty funny that he had forgotten about my order and I was sitting for a cool bit unaware that I was no longer regarded. I felt frustrated enough to forgo asking a refund and just walked out.

I walked in Friday 6/6 with my niece who ordered a delicious mocha chip drink for herself. The friendly staff made a drink order for a customer who bailed on them & instead of just throwing it away they gave it away being mindful of waste. I can respect a business that not only produces delicious drinks but also cares about waste in this economic climate. Thanks La Perk!

I used to love this place! Jamie is always friendly and accommodating. I don’t go in as often as I used to. The newer employees don’t seem to be able to fulfill online orders, and when they do actually fulfill them, they don’t notify you when it’s ready.
Tbh I can’t blame them for not caring about orders much. But that’s one reason to just go somewhere else if you want to order ahead of time.

Went to get our weekly chocolate banana shakes which are usually our favorites… However, this time, our shakes were full of mystery chunks… At first we thought maybe it was ice but then when we kept picking chunks of mystery debris out of our teeth that were white, black, and brown, we only hoped it was chunks of perhaps leftover coconut and maybe somehow, the banana peel accidentally got thrown in the blender when our shakes were being made… and we don’t even know what the other chunks were and we probably don’t want to know. So, I called and specifically spoke to the manager, Jeannie, and let her know that there were definitely chunks of coconut in our drink which my son has an allergy and she basically put it on me and said that was my fault for not telling her that he had a food allergy so that she could prepare his food in a clean blender and then, she stated that it was weird that there were even chunks of coconut in there because they only made one coconut shake, and that was early in the morning. Implying that I was lying… But really, just furthered their disgusting lack of cleaning methods because obviously chunks of the day’s shakes had piled up at the bottom of the blender and were served to us in our chocolate banana mystery debris shake. Jeanie had a poor attitude and asked how she could make it better. I said she should refund me for the shakes and she said I would need to go in there to get a slip for a free shake. She was definitely more annoyed by my call and not even worried about the fact that my son got unwanted coconut and other debris in the shake I let her know if my son ended up having issues due to the coconut allergy that She would be hearing from me and she said no problem and was very nonchalant but challenging… Very sad that such a great place has managed to find more people in this world who know nothing about quality customer service, and then promote them to management. We will be going back to the shake place in the food court… Perhaps their shakes aren’t as fantastic as Le Perk but at least we know we are not getting daily unwanted debris and chunks of crap mixed in with our shake.

There was mold in my sandwich. They said the sandwiches are from Costco. And all they could do was give store credit. Now thinking about it, the sandwiches and other baked goods aren’t labeled and it’s disturbing to think about. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the other foods there were from Costco. Not coming back. And for anyone reading this, please don’t order from here. It’s only good if you want a quiet space, and half the time it isn’t cause some baby’s in there.

Cashier was rude. I do not appreciate when rushed to order. I asked for recommendations and he just pointed at the menu. Lack of professionalism. I ordered a few drinks and asked for whipped cream on one of them, to my surprise, the person who put whip on the drink had long, long, acrylic nails and put it inside the whip as she pressed on the tip of the bottle. I felt so disgusted! Nails grow more germs than a door knob:(

I did not say anything just because they were packed and I did not want to make scene in front of people.
Management, please take a look at those details.
They also have an old fashion to charge because they do not provide an itemized receipt. They basically have a free ride to charge fo whatever they want and you will not get a clue.

La Perk Gourmet Coffee offers great service and mostly good coffee. I had the simple espresso with milk added which was cheap, bitter and good! One area for improvement is that this coffee shop lacks seating or an outlet for charging. It is not good for sitting down or working.

Came in with my kiddo on Tuesday, May 10, a little after 11am. The drinks were good, but the 5 stars is for the woman who was there alone. Someone came in right before us with a huge, multi drink order, then she had our order, and a couple more that came in right after us. It was far too much for one person, but she handled it like a rock star. I forgot her name, but I hope she gets some kudos.

How is it possible that there is no price list? Does this mean they can sell it at whatever price they prefer depending on the customer? I don’t think this is legal, or at least it’s a very fishy behavior.
