We love this place! Spectacular lemon bars and huge chocolate chocolate chip muffins! And excellent cold brew coffee and lemon ginger tea! Great chill atmosphere with cushy booths and couches set off by great artwork. I particularly love the Gustav Klimt mural and the back lit skylight of trees above the coffee bar. We are excited to come back to relax after our lake and DTWN walks to work our way through their menu!

Barista is good at projecting, very clear and understandable. Yummy smoothie. The guy that made the grilled cheese was friendly.

We own property in Evergreen and are seasonal residents. We look forward to our cabin time and Java Groove! The owner is one of the kindest humans in our community. Stop by for amazing coffee and cozy vibes. You won’t be disappointed.

Very misleading. Went and ordered a very expensive breakfast burrito that has chopped green chilies in it not green chili. Everywhere says ask for a sample of our new green chili an no where does it say it’s not served until 1130. The lady at the front t hair was very rude. The owner was nice but made no attempt to fix it. This is very confusing. Paid $35 for a small burrito a small bagel and a muffin. Very disappointing.

This place is amazing. The community vibe was great, and we had fresh, hot croissant and a cortado. The chicken breakfast sandwich was also amazing! The service was terrific and the coffee was great!

Staff seemed more interested in visiting with each other in the back than serving counter. Low enthusiasm which probably just bothers me. Most residents here don’t seem concerned by this level of service. We don’t get their coffee but they have reasonable desserts. Today we had their lemon cooler and death by chocolate cakes. Lemon was more fresh and pretty good. Chocolate was older and more dried. It probably is better when freshly made. Overall, worth a visit. It’s quiet and less crowded than competitor down the street.

If you find yourself in Evergreen, this is a MUST see! Take in the aroma of coffee, enjoy pastries, and breakfast or lunch items. The owner, Eric, is a gem of a human! You can enjoy books, games, and comfortable seating. Don’t forget, if you have been blessed, feel free to leave a pay it forward receipt on the wall to help those who may need it!

Java Groove has been a critical piece of the Evergreen coffee scene for decades. Back in the mid-200s, we loved visiting in high school to get some treats and caffeine. Now, the atmosphere is even better, with the same great view, eclective artwork, and delicious fare. Eric is a gem of an addition to Evergreen, with kind caring service and connection to the community. My dad was close with Eric prior to his passing and he spoke highly about Eric and the JG staff every time he interacted with them. If you’re looking for a hot drink in the winter, friendly atmosphere, and close parking, Java Groove is the place for you.
