First visit. I saw the open sign but it looks like an empty space. Once inside the lighting is dull. I was greeted with a warm welcome. Ordered the Spring Roll, which was 8.99 for only 2 pieces along with the shrimp roll at the same price. I believe for the price these items were not to my liking. I also ordered the Kani maki shrimp and the crunch roll with spicy mayo. These two items were just okay and over priced. I will not recommend but I believe you should try for yourself.

The food was mostly good. There was one young male who was trying to wait on everyone in the restaurant so everyone was having to wait longer to be served. The cheese stars cost $6 for only 4. They were not that good. The entrees were all very tasty. The coconut ice cream had freezer burn which the waiter announced when he brought it to the table. When I went to pay the young girl said it would be $81. I was shocked and asked for an itemized list. She proceeded to list items verbally. She was charging us for 3 drinks. We only had 2 drinks. One of us only had water. Then she was charging me for the $7 Thai Tea and I only had hot green tea, not the Specialty Thai tea. Also, she wanted to charge full price for the ice cream that had freezer burn. I told her I wanted the ice cream and the 3rd drink removed, and the Thai tea charge changed to hot green tea. She was not happy because she had to do a refund and start over. The owner was listening and he told her to make the changes. She gave me a refund for $81 and my new bill was $51. That was a big difference but much more accurate an accounting of our order. If not for the attempt to charge incorrectly, I would have wanted to go back. After this episode paying, I read a lot of reviews about over pricing. I wonder if the same thing that happened with our bill had happened to these other people. I would recommend everyone clarify their charges before paying.

The food was delicious and the staff was friendly. We had our kids with us, and they let them watch as they made their sushi rolls. They even made special trainer chopsticks for them to eat with. It was a delightful evening.

Food is always amazing, we love this place. Staff is always helpful with explanations of specials, and are great with ideas for modifying menu items for my little kiddo. Menu items offer explanation of each dish. Saw lots of take out orders picked up.

I was very pleased with the pad thai and lo mien. Taste was authentic.
My order (plain Lo mein, chicken pad thai and an order of spring rolls) came up to $47, a bit much for the small portion. Service was great and friendly.

The Thai House on Bultman has excellent Red Curry Chicken. Definitely ask for double chicken, because there isn’t much in the regular serving.

The staff is very friendly and very good at remembering regular customers.

The restaurant is always clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The price is definitely up there. For four people you’ll spend at least $50-60, depending on if you are getting drinks.

The one dish I wouldn’t recommend is the Tom Yum soup. It’s very bland. But the Volcano Fish more than makes up for that.

I was hoping with a 4.3 the food would have been much better. I have to agree with the fact that their portion sizes are wayyy too small for full price entrees. The chicken pad woon sen was actually pretty good aside from huge pieces of whole green onion. However, you better order three orders if your eating it alone for dinner. We liked the spicy level we ordered. That calamari was a full price appetizer and you had as much sauce as calamari and it was ok at best. Not very good. We got four greasy spring rolls in the wet and greasy open brown paper bag. My thai tea to-go was a styrofoam cup with about 75% ice and a little tea. Lastly, their menu prices are not true or accurate. My husband paid about a whole 12 dollars more than menu prices plus tax. Sadly, this was our first time and I don’t think we will be back. They have the potential to be way better and definitely give people their money worth of food. 3/5 was for the decent taste and spice of our entrees.

If you like flavorful food and fresh sushi, Thai House is the place for you! We started with the Tai Tea. It was creamy and delicious. For appetizers, we tried the spring rolls and the chicken Gyoza. The spring rolls were delicious and stuffed to the brim with veggies. The Gyoza were perfect- lightly fried on the bottom and full of flavor. The dipping sauce was the icing on the cake. The sushi combo came with Miso soup. The soup was chalk full of onions, seaweed, and pieces of tofu. The broth was much tastier than others we’ve tried; You could taste the fresh herbs. The sushi combo came with 8 pieces of California roll, 6 pieces of Nigiri, and 8 pieces of Sashimi. Everything was perfectly chilled and delicious. The variety of seafood pieces was great. The last thing we tried was the potato, carrot, and onion yellow curry with shrimp. The flavor of the curry was complex and herby, with just the right amount of heat. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the shrimp. The curry was served with a bowl of sticky rice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely go back.

Whoa boy! That sucked!

We were trying places before going to Charleston and this place had a great rating so we tried here.
Food: DEFFINATELY NOT 4.5 STARS GOOD. it was much closer to 3 stars good. California rolls were the best thing we tried, everything else was just kind of mediocre. Also portion sizes were a little crazy, something’s too small and some too much.
Service: The man who served us was nice however the food came out in slow spurts. We got checked on enough but towards the end we thought we would be given our checks and it wasn’t until one of us got up and asked did we know that we were supposed to go up to the front to pay and wasted about 20 mins of time on that.
Prices: Definitely really overpriced. In a party of 5 of us we all thought we paid too much.

Another note…. there’s no music playing. Definitely a minus.
