The place is quaint and cozy. We were greated immediately. They were very pleasant and made suggestions based on our wants. If you like crispy fries, like I do, they don’t have it. Still delish, seasoned fries. Our burgers???? O. M. G…..just take a look.

Locally owned Burger spot, Food cooked with a distinctively old fashioned flair. Owner has been here more than 25 years, great food in an unpretentious environment. Cowboys game playing on the bigscreen as we dined. Home cut fries, and they have sandwiches on the menu as well, delicious fried offerings for appetizers including fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and Texas toothpicks. Friendly staff, our first visit here and we will definitely be back!

My friend and I went to Burger Island the other day. We were tired of all the same kinds of burger places we eat at. I was so happy we tried them. It has been years for me since I have been there. The guy that helped us with our order was really nice. He took our order quickly and they brought it out pretty quick. We took it to go home. They smelled so good on the ride home. I was hoping they would be as good as they smelled. You know what they were! So very good! The burgers were big and juicy and the flavor was really good! Perfectly cooked and they give you the biggest portions of fries. We tried the sweet potato fries. Really good! Needless to say we will be back!

Definitely coming back! I got the mushroom burger and it was real mushrooms!! Not common on mushrooms burger… Everything was delicious… The price was good as well and you get a huge burger! Now the customer is definitely a 10 out of 10 and you can tell the owner takes pride in what he does.. I observed how he treated all the customers and he was truly genuine with everyone…

I came to Burger Island with my family today. Their food and service did not disappoint. The manager was even generous enough to give us free friends on my step sister’s cheese sticks plate! Their burger is so full of flavor. I would 100% recommend if you’re looking for a place to eat a good burger.

Avoid if like decent hamburgers. Owners don’t care about the business.
Burgers were overcooked and dry, cheap bun, low quality ingredients and tasteless fries. Add high prices to this and you have Burger Island. Getting the combo (fries & drink) adds $5.69 to the price of the burger. Tasteless fries and a smallish generic Styrofoam cup. Last photo in this review shows what $15 gets you.

From the moment you look at details of the outside and see the faded, peeling signage to walking up to the counter to placean order you can see that the owners have given up. Inside are bare walls, still with the nails and hooks from long gone decorations. Staff (owners?) were bored and seemed to really not want to be there.

The food was absolutely delicious, very fresh and hot and came out with timely manner. The cashier guy was very sweet and helpful when asking about the menu. When asking for a ranch cup, which typically is charged, he gave me one on the house as well as the sweet girl chef who brought out my food. Very pleasant experience, will be back!
