My cornbread wasn’t done to where I could roll up the cornbread around in balls the red beans n rice was all beans as u see. The Mac taste like box sharp Mac n cheese. I came a time before and the yams was nasty n not done. The bartender was great with good customer service . But they are nothing like how they use to be back in the day.

Tasteless. Spent nearly $70 on two meals for lemonade resembling urine, gummy alligator bites, chalky cornbread, stale tasting macaroni with no sharpness (as they indicated), and ribs with more fat than Albert himself. The wait time was extensive. Bartender was appearing to be moving so swiftly, but not swiftly enough to bring us our food in a timely manner, as well as to make sure that the order she was bagging was correct. Total bummer realizing that as we arrived home. Bags tied with so many knots and rubber bands that it’s almost impossible to check your food effectively after you’ve been waiting forever just to get your food in the first place (maybe they do that on purpose, who knows). My boyfriend and I totally lost our appetite after receiving this meal and tasting it. He’s currently eating his cigarette. 1/10 would not recommend.

Every time I come here the food is delicious and fresh !!! I use to love that they had turkey ribs but I guess they no longer serve that but we ordered the orange roughy and shrimp . We had mashed potatoes( first time trying it and we didn’t really like those ) but we ended up getting more greens and Mac and cheese ! We also got sweet chi chili wings which were good as well. We shared everything lol . Definitely recommend this place . The waiters are always nice too.

Id give 5 stars for the food we ordered, everything was fresh and seasoned well. The atmosphere was quiet and we enjoyed the music. We didnt order any drinks here, so since this is a bar Id have to know what the drinks are like before i give another star. We will return and make sure its worth the hype!!

My husband and I didn’t plan to eat here but we could smell the food from the street so we thought we would give it a try. I ordered brisket with collard greens, and sweet potato casserole. My hubby got Polish boy. My dish came with corn bread. The brisket was juicy and the spicy BBQ sauce had the right amount of heat. The service was a bit slow but it was just one lady to do everything from taking order, bartending, etc. Overall we liked it here. I hope you give them a try.

First time here and we will be back. Great neighborhood lots of place near by. Small intimate dining with full bar. Food was great prices even better. Staff were friendly. I had fried fish, mac and greens delicious, mac was ok we did get peach cobbler we didnt eat it. Was soggy and didnt really have a taste but all in all definitely will recommend.

How this place is not rated higher is beyond me. Would eat here again. I’m from Toledo,Ohio and would definitely come back. Customer service was spot on, maybe there is a code word like: hi or thank you that you can use to get good service…. You won’t be disappointed

Food was awesome! Was in Cleveland and wanted bbq, and this looked like the juiciest meat in town…. Definitely delivered on the meats!! Food came out in a good time and was fire Not a dry piece of meat in sight! Yams were great, mac was great, and cornbread was nice and moist. Highly reccomend

Ate here with a group of about 30 on Saturday. Food was amazing, served hot. Brandon and all the hosts were solid gold. I had the brisket with greens and fries. Still thinking about it. Everyone’s meal looked as good as mine tasted. Definitely recommend. They’ve got a decent selection of premium tequila, scotch and bourbons too!
