Burger Detour is an absolute gem for burger enthusiasts. The burgers are consistently hot, with perfectly melted cheese that makes every bite amazing. The fries are always crispy and seasoned just right, making them the perfect side. If you’re looking for a place that consistently delivers delicious burgers and fries, Burger Detour is the spot to go. Sadly they are always out of hoodies each time I’ve gone. The employees especially the mangers are always so nice.

Sliders are palm sized (expectedly).
Fries were hot and fresh, but average compared to fries at burger joints.
Their special sauce for fry dipping is somewhere between Cane’s sauce and 1000 island dressing.
Buns were a bit on the hard/stiff side.

Just tried Burger Detour for the first time. Spent $22 and change, includes tax, for 4 Sliders, Frix (Crinkle Cut Fries, Shoe String Fries, and Waffle Fries), and a Vanilla/Chocolate Shake. Tastes like Wendy’s Burgers, if your burger is not juicy, or flavorful, drowned in KETCHUP!!!
I ate one and a half sliders and I can’t choke anymore of this meal down.

We had a group of 10 come in, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. The outside seating was perfect for us to sit, talk, and eat. The saff was great! They turned on the heaters outside for us, brought out all the food, and even checked on us to make sure we had everything. The food was good, fresh and there was a lot of it!

This was our first time eating at Burger Detour. The food was great. As a connoisseur of onion rings, I’m not sure if I have had a better ring. The burgers and fries were also fantastic! The restaurant was SO clean! A refreshing experience for a fast food place. We will be going back.

This was our first visit and I was impressed with the burger and the fries. The burger was flavorful and juicy and seemed a cut above other chain burger places. The fries were very tasty and I enjoyed the”frix” mix of shoestring, waffle, and crinkle-cut fries. Service was great. We arrived a bit earlier than the rest of our party and the staff was very friendly while we waited. We will be back, even though it’s a bit of a drive for us.

This was my first time trying this location, previously had been to the Maple location a few times. Tonight we had great service, the man working was kind and attentive. We had fast service. My pup even got a “pup” cup. The food was hot, bun was soft, and Burger was cooked well. My daughter says the chicken bites are the best! Best location in my opinion. We will be back.

One of the better hamburgers I have had in Omaha. I tried the single burger combo. They offer 3 kinds of fries. Waffle, crinkle, and shoestring. You can also ask for a mixture of all 3 fries, they call it the Frix.
A friend loves their chicken bites, and milk shakes. I’ll need to try those or the chicken sandwich next visit.
I felt it was a good value for a delicious meal.
I highly recommend you try it today because I don’t think it’ll disappoint!

I couldn’t resist going back to try the Chicken Bites, and management told me their Onion Rings were excellent, so I just had to do it.
Onion Rings, real onions, breading not too thick, definitely they were most excellent. Good rings will always bring me back.
Chicken Bites, hand cut from chicken breast, coating not too thick, juicy, and they had the greatest flavor. In fact I ate at least 1/2 of my order with no sauce because they were that good.
The ranch dip is made on site, and you can tell. It tastes like homemade. I also tried the Detour sauce which was good too. I heard it’s very popular with customers so you must give it a try while you are there.

just drove from Lincoln to try detour burger, let me say I’m so impressed and pleased. The location was nice and the employees were so sweet and patient. Having an hour drive my order was pretty complicated trying to prevent it getting soggy, but they had no problem helping me out and making sure it was correct, food smells, looks, and taste amazing!!!! Thank you to the sweet and patient employees, it’s hard to find these days.

This was our first visit to Burger Detour. We ordered 2 of the 10 piece chicken bite combos and a chicken bite kids meal. Everything tasted great! The onion rings are amazing!! The service was above and beyond!! We will definitely be coming back and so should you.
