Tonight was definitely not what I was expecting from this establishment. I’ve been coming here for 7 years and have never experienced being completely ignored by an employee. If a table has their drinks and the other does not, then the table who DOESN’T have drinks should be addressed first. But instead, the table I was sitting at was ignored for 20 minutes until we finally had it.

I was told by a friend to come here for a good local bar with good food and cold drinks. I was not disappointed.
I came here on the night the Houston Astros were playing in the World Series, so the place was packed and people were there to watch the game. I found the one spot left at the bar and sat down.
Once the bar tenders warmed up, they were super friendly.
I ordered fried pickles and the Cowboy burger. Sheesh, that burger was down right amazing! It was huge, had a great flavor, and had everything you are looking for in a burger.
This is a cool spot to go mingle with the locals and the food is fantastic.

I went here because I heard that the burgers were good. I was definitely impressed with the food. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Maybe they should spend more time waiting on customers instead of just talking to their friends.

Best bar in Victoria! The staff is super friendly, the music is always great, and the food is to die for! The burgers have to be the best in town, and everything else they serve is amazing as well. I recommend stopping by, even if it’s just for a burger or to have a few brews. You can’t go wrong with Brown Bag Saloon.
