Cafe Rouge is located in Bedford, Québec. We have a large breakfast menu with gluten free options. There is something for everyone. In our lunch menu you can find sandwiches, salads and latino meal options. We’re not part of the chain of French restaurants in Europe. We are a family and community oriented restaurant. Who believes in supporting local business. There’s a kids area for children to play and entertain themselves while parents are enjoying their meals at the restaurant. A game room is also available free of charge to our clients to enjoy with your family and friends. A nice cozy lounge area with sofas , water fountain and fire place is available to you to sit and relax and enjoy one of our delicious coffees or desserts.

Very lovely place and with a staff as sweet as can be !

For the foods, it was excellent and for the portions, just look at how smoked salmon I was served (i managed to stopped myself to take this photo. No extras by the way) :

My first visit to Quebec, Canada and Cafe Rouge in Bedford was INCREDIBLE! The latte was very good, and the food was delicious and hearty with a variety of fresh fruit. I appreciated the friendly service, and the locals were very kind. I highly recommend passing through the charming village of Bedford and stopping at Cafe Rouge along the way!

The food and the coffee is very good here. The service is friendly and patient. They also sell a good variety of coffee beans and they will grind it for you on the spot. They’ve also got some pretty pastries. The restaurant seems to have been in business for some while. It’s older look, but that isn’t a problem. I would have given this place a five star, but I had to deduct one because of the smell. I don’t know how to describe it apart from it smelling like a very old building.

I have eaten brunch here several times and always walk away happy. If you’re looking for a classic French breakfast or brunch, this is the spot. I will say, they could have more variety for their coffee. But perhaps it’s more of a tea culture than coffee…

Overall not impressed .. I ordered the BLT thinking it is a typical square bread style and a soup .. the sandwich was in a baguette with 3 small slices of tomato and 2 sparse pieces of romaine .. I asked for well cooked bacon but ended up with super hard crispy bacon .. the coffee was blah barely warm ..
