Finally made it to give it a shot yesterday. I’ll start off by saying the young lady that took my order was absolutely fabulous! Wonderful personality and happy to assist with any questions.
The restaurant itself was very clean and inviting. It’s a small interior but enough seating to sit comfortably. Decor was tasteful as well.
Now for the food. We ordered a sampling of various items and overall everything we had was just okay. For $4 I was a little disappointed in the size of the empanadas. They had good taste but it reminded me of a local empanada place elsewhere that sells theirs for $2 to 2.50. The coquettas didn’t have much flavor for the ham and queso. The wrap was pretty good and I did like the fries that they serve. Very thin and crispy.
All in all the food isn’t bad but didn’t necessarily wow me. There are some other things on the menu I will try another time. Pricing on some items including tres leches cake and banana pudding is 2 to $3 higher than most other places.

Miami Fusion Café is the real deal. I lived in Miami for 14 years, and this is the closest I’ve tasted to authentic Cuban/Miami food here in Charlotte. The flavors are spot on and the quality is consistently great.
I love that it’s quick service style that still feels homemade and fresh. Plus, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. So happy to have a little piece of Miami here!

Wow! I’m so glad we have so many staple Miami dishes. I started with the chicken chop chop and have a long ways to go through their menu. The drive thru is a total plus too…I’m looking forward Cuban coffee on the go! Huge value add to Indian Land – wishing this location a lot of success! Highly recommended.

This new Cuban/Puerto rican flavor fusion restaurant is the best thing to hit the area.
If you love Latin American food this place is the place to go to. The have a wide selection of foods that is definitely hard to choose just one thing to eat. You will want to try it all.

I ordered 2 Cuban sandwiches and was so excited to try. It was more of a ham and cheese sandwich. They barely put in any roasted pork. At $15 a sandwich I was underwhelmed.
I ordered the croquetas (ham) and they were a little undercooked.
Lastly I ordered the guava/cheese appetizer and that was delicious.

Great food but as a walk in customer we had to wait a bit to get it. They seemed to be short on cooks while the very friendly customer service people were standing around. Maybe need to cross train staff. But otherwise food was as good as we have had at any Cuban restaurant in Florida and I will definitely go back. We went for dinner but I would love to go back and have a cafe con leche with their delicious looking pastries. I sure hope this place is successful.

2nd time ordering via DD. Food was packaged well. The food is delicious. We enjoyed a chicken chop-chop bowl, chicken mojo bowl, maduros, yucca rellena. Sooooo flavorful. Can’t wait to enjoy this restaurant again. My first order I had the chicharron which was so great. Very happy this restaurant came to IL. Great addition
