Reef Restaurant came highly recommended by friends, so we sailed around the corner, dropped anchor, and booked a table online for the following day, and it was absolutely worth it.
The food was outstanding, the staff were great, and the music was perfectly matched to the relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The décor of the restaurant is simply beautiful and really adds to the overall experience. We had the most wonderful time from start to finish.
I will admit my wallet felt it when we left, but it was one of those places where the experience truly justifies the treat. I would definitely go back again the next time I’m in Antigua.

Undeniably the best restaurant experience of my life. I went for a 60th birthday treat. They sent a boat to collect us from The Escape at nonsuch bay. Expensive but worth every penny considering you are eating exquisite food in paradise. We spent 4 hours on the island, 2 of them exploring the beaches and enjoying those too.

We had an incredible afternoon at The Reef Restaurant, and it’s easily one of the highlights of our time in Antigua. Being able to swim, relax on the beach, and then step straight into a world-class meal is exactly how dining in the Caribbean should be done.
We started with the Lobster Catalan, Mahi Mahi Tartare, and Duck Breast Salad — all beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. Fresh, thoughtful, and elevated without trying too hard. For mains, we had the catch of the day, served on a hot salt plate, which was both a showpiece and outstanding in flavour. Simple, clean, and expertly executed.
What really set the experience apart was the staff. They were genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating with our three kids — no stress, no side-eye, just thoughtful service that made the entire meal relaxed and enjoyable.
If you’re in Antigua and want a place that combines stunning setting, excellent food, and real hospitality — this is it. Unpretentious luxury, done right.

No cash accepted so bring your credit card with plenty of room on it! It’s expensive but worth every dollar!

We booked lunch at The Reef and used the water taxi from Willikies Fisherman Dock to travel to and from Green Island. The restaurant was prompt and helpful in our booking, and their service over lunch was impeccable. We each had the three-course for $85 USD, along with drinks and desert (additional costs), and while it was a pricey lunch, it was very special and the best prepared fish we had while in Antigua. Afterwards we explored a little of Green Island, sitting on the beach and watching kite surfers. Such a unique and wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
