Really good boneless bites with all white meat (non fluff) chicken. Fresh. Burgers are solid and wings are great. Jay was our server and was awesome.

Country Road Pub hot wings are just really good. Crispy, sauced right, and always hit the spot. If you like wings, you won’t be disappointed

Second time there and very likely will be the last. I ordered just a simple bacon cheeseburger. My son ordered another kind of burger. His had so much grease left in it you could’ve deep fried something. Mine came out raw in the middle said make me a new one I said no don’t have time for that just throw this one back on and finish cooking it… About 5 minutes go by brings burger back out well if you like raw burgers best place to go. Picture below…lol

Country Roads Pub – Where West Virginia Pride Meets Hometown Hospitality!

Almost heaven… that’s the feeling you get as soon as you walk through the doors of Country Roads Pub in Keyser, WV. This place isn’t just a bar—it’s a West Virginia experience! If John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” had a physical form, it would be right here, in this cozy, welcoming, and downright iconic establishment where every inch of the place screams Mountaineer pride!

From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with the warmest hospitality this side of the Alleghenies. The friendly bartenders feel like they’ve known you forever, and the atmosphere is like coming home to your own piece of wild and wonderful West Virginia. You’ll find locals swapping stories, travelers stopping for a cold one, and everyone singing along to—you guessed it—“Country Roads” playing in the background. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows the words and isn’t afraid to belt them out with pride.

The décor? Pure West Virginia through and through! Walls decked with WV memorabilia, a tribute to our rich Appalachian heritage, and a vibe that’ll make you feel like you’re sitting on a porch overlooking rolling hills. And don’t even get me started on the food and drinks! Whether it’s a frosty brew or some good ol’ West Virginia comfort food, every bite and sip tastes like home. You can almost hear those Blue Ridge Mountains calling you back for another round.

If you’re looking for a pub that encapsulates the soul of West Virginia, Country Roads Pub is it. It’s a place where strangers become friends, and no matter where you’re from, you leave feeling like a true Mountaineer. So, take my advice—if you’re anywhere near Keyser, this is the only stop you need to make.

Country roads, take me home… to Country Roads Pub! Five stars for this absolute gem, and I’ll be back soon to raise a glass to West Virginia’s finest!

I went there with my boyfriend not even an hour ago. He was drinking I wasn’t so I could drive us home. The bartender there was very rude. She was yellin at my friend because he didn’t have the money to give her an astronomical tip. And had a rude attitude to the rest of us because of such, being angry and rude to someone who didn’t make you mad is NOT how you give service good enough for a good tip.

Great food, great service. Wife had smash burger w/ bacon and fries, I had smash burger and onion rings. Both were great and I liked the fact that the food stayed hot throughout the meal. They had one waitress and she was excellent, they were very busy and she was very fast taking care of everyone. The only complaint was the parking lot, several potholes. We were from Baltimore, if I’m ever in the area again I would definitely patronize.

Me and my wife ate here yesterday and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The mushroom Swiss is top notch and my wife got 12 sweet hot wings and she loved them! Great service and love the sport bar theme they have going on! We will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten at the Country Roads Pub a few times, and it’s my local go-to spot in Keyser for a Reuben sandwich. There’s something about the way they stack that corned beef, rye, and sauerkraut—it’s just spot-on every time. It is not a two stack Rubin with three slices of bread but a single stack. The food here’s reliably good, nothing fancy, but hearty and tasty, which is exactly what I’m after when I walk through the door.

The place hasn’t changed much from the old restaurant and pub that used to be here—same layout, same vibe, like stepping into a time capsule. But honestly, it works. It’s clean, which I really appreciate, and the service is friendly and quick without feeling rushed. You’re not waiting forever for your food, and the staff always seem happy to see you.

Pricing’s moderate—won’t break the bank, but it’s not dirt-cheap either. My Reuben and a drink usually run me a fair amount, and I’m happy to pay it for the quality. It’s a solid local hangout, perfect for a laid-back meal alone or with friends. I will continue to eat at this pub.

First and last time there. Got overcharged then got an attitude when I politely asked why we didn’t get the specials price. Had to ask for silverware after our food had already been brought out. Waited a long time to get the waitress’ attention each time. Food was good, service not so much
