What an awesome “hidden” gem! We were nearby exploring the caves and saw this cute spot on the way in, checked the Google reviews, and gave it a shot. They did not disappoint. The food was well-priced, fresh, delicious, fast, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were some bikes around, but it was not sketchy or “rough”. I would say during the day, this is a great spot for families to have a relaxed meal! We LOVED the special Bob’s Sauce, wish we could have taken a gallon, shrimp will never be as good again. My husband says it’s worth another trip, but that would be a 2.5-hour drive and I’m not sure about that. However, if you are in the area we HIGHLY recommend the steamed shrimp and grouper bites. Also the LITERAL best tater tots EVER, and I am very picky on potato products when eating out, soggy is a texture I fear. They were delicious. Just an all-around great experience.

The food was good, but definitely not the drive, or the price.
We had the burgers and grouper bites.
They were pretty good but the burgers didn’t seem like real meat. More like byproducts mushed together.
The tator tots were good, and the portion was also good.
The slaw was the sour type, but also good portion and taste.
I wouldn’t want to sit inside, it was just too small and cramped, but they have a nice outside eating area.
Plenty of parking.
The ladies at the counter weren’t very friendly, but mind you we got there around 1:30 on a Saturday, so they probably just went through a mad lunch rush, and was a little tired and grumpy from that.
For 3 of us, the bill was $72, which was too stiff for just burgers.
Would I recommend this place?
I guess if you have it on your bucket list,and have money to burn.
But if you’re on a budget, then maybe this place may not be a good option for you.

OMG!!!! Amazing place! Delicious Shrimp! I did the Zatarans 1/2 and couldn’t finish it! Husband did the Cod sandwich and loved it! You HAVE to try the tater tots, fried pickles, and cole slaw. My son did the boneless wings and they were amazing as well. Best sweet tea too! Staff is awesome! A real treat if you ever get to Brooksville! Don’t miss this one

Nice place to meet friends for food and drinks. Wednesday $1 wings are meaty, crisp, and full of flavor. Grilled oysters are good. They have some great comfort food, too! A tator tot version of Poutine will surely satisfy. And the steamed shrimp are priced well and delicious .

The food was delicious, my new favorite place to get oysters. The Buffalo wings and fried pickles were also fantastic. Our food was ready unbelievably quick and the service was great. The atmosphere here is awesome. It really feels like old Florida. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Very friendly atmosphere for all ages. It was my first time there. We were there on a Saturday night so there was a 2 person band on the outside deck and great upbeat music playing inside.
You order when you walk in and in no time, your food is brought to your table. Fast, friendly service.
Food was fantastic! I don’t do oysters but the wings with Bob sauce were great. I feel like a mac-n-cheese connoisseur and that was amazing! And free refills on our sweet tea

This is a really interesting place. You order from the counter. The food is brought to your table in take-out containers. The atmosphere is casual and a little loud. The oysters, shrimp and tots were prepared perfectly and delicious! The beers were served very cold. Their ice water was even delicious with tons of ice. We enjoyed this restaurant a great deal and will be back. Fun place to go with friends!

I lived in New Orleans for 6 years. People come from all over the world to experience New Orleans cuisine, especially seafood. Whether it’s Cooter Brown’s, Copeland’s, Brennan’s or Commanders Palace, it’s all exquisite. BUT BVL OYSTER BAR IS EVEN BETTER! They make the best grilled oysters I’ve ever had, with half a dozen different options, each better than the last. The atmosphere is friendly and casual, with each table having is own big screen TV. I drove 90 minutes to get there, and I’m going back this weekend.
