We had the meatball starter which looked good at first, but I was disappointed to find that both the sauce and meatballs weren’t seasoned. I expect better at 21$ for 3 meatballs and some sauce. We also got the Margherita pizza which had the same issue, the sauce was barely seasoned. This was sad because I really enjoyed the crust on the pizza.
A little bit of salt and care go a long way.

Amazing tasting beet salad. Arugula has some of the best gluten free crust in north bay! The arugula pizza is the best with the chili oil on the side.

Absolutely amazing experience at Arugula! I’d been wanting to go there for years. The food was delicious. My husband got the calabrese and I shared the Hawaiian with my daughter. I loved the gluten free crust. Reminded me of pizza in Italy! The server brought my daughter’s drink with an umbrella and it brought her so much joy. Very friendly service. I tried the strawberry Mexican soda and it was great. Loved sitting on the patio beside the stream. Unique setting and atmosphere! We will definitely be back. The pizza was so good they were both half gone before I remembered to take pictures.

The pizza is decent for the price. They offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, which is nice. I might come back once in a while for the dining experience, but not too often because the quality doesn’t really match the price.

We’re in town for a wedding, decided to try it out. Great food and atmosphere. Would be especially nice in warmer weather on their screened in patio.
Pricing was good, quality was great. Service was super fast and our server was polite and attentive.
We had the pesto and fungi pizzas. Highly recommend both!

Anytime I visit North Bay, I have to get my favorite (gluten free) fungi pizza! Amazing food, friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. I love their outdoor, enclosed patio (with heater) thats nestled alongside beautiful mature trees.

The experience at Arugsla was pleasant overall. The setting is well-designed and inviting, with a warm and friendly staff that made us feel welcome. However, the food was just average, which is why I’ve given it a 3-star rating.
The escargot dish was a disappointment—the texture was pasty and the flavor fell flat. On the brighter side, the pepperoni pizza was quite good, and the calamari was enjoyable as well.
That said, I won’t be returning, as I’m still in search of true 5-star food emporiums.

If you want a tasty pizza and a beautifull view in the summer and fall of Chippewa Creek while enjoying a negroni with a Caesar appetizer this is the place to go. The pizza is cooked in a neopolitan oven and topped with gourmet ingredients, the table offers up a bevy of toppings from chilis, chili oil and hot honey to add more flavour to your already flavourful selection of pizza, the salads and sides are quite delicious with freshly tossed vegetables and savoury dressing for both the Caesar and house salads. The cocktails and wine selection are amazing and the atmosphere is both grand and welcoming with a beautifull view of a chandelier inside and a patio space adorned by the sounds of a rushing creek and the green foliage and stately branches of the walnut trees that surround it. The service is great but for such a small space filled with so many tables it sometimes can take a bit of a wait to get your meal. The restaurant is always packed with familys and gatherings of workers taking a nice lunch and the menu has a great selection of sandwiches and pizza. There is a small bar to the right as you walk in from the entrance and view the deli style kitchen space and it’s beautifully mosaiced pizza oven. Over all this restaurant is amazing all I could ask to add to this amazing space is for the menu to have more pasta lol but again it is meant to have gourmet pizza and they do not disappoint.

Best restaurant in North Bay. Many restaurants in smaller locales try to be something else and fail, but this one can stand on its own two feet. Yes, it’s pizza and the occasional burger. But they do it very well. It’s expensive for North Bay, but because of the quality and selection it appears to be always busy. And it deserves to be. The atmosphere and food quality are candidly better than most in Toronto, Vancouver, Whistler or Banff. Keep it up Arugula. Well done.

My boyfriend and I came to North Bay for the weekend and decided to give Arugula a try for the first time. Will absolutely be back! Their pizza is incredible, and the service was so quick. 100% reccomend!
