If you’re craving fried seafood, it’s a good place to stop. I like it because the food has never been greasy, and the cornmeal is lightly dusted and crispy. I’ve been stopping here for over 10 years when I’m craving fried shrimp, catfish, oysters, and stuffed crab.
The only thing that’s hit and miss are the fries. It’s 50/50 if they are hot and fresh. I do like the fries when hot, not greasy and not salted. I like to salt my own fries if I want to.

Cozy seafood restaurant between Anderson Mill and Lake Creek, off the 183N service road. Loved the vibe, and the tasty Shrimp Po’ Boy. Sat at the bar with friendly customers, and staff, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! Thanks, Pacific Star!

Oh man, this is a hidden gem! There is road construction out front, but do not let that keep you from supporting this place. This is a local, family owned and operated restaurant. The service was incredible. The young woman, Leslie, that waited on my table was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere here lets you step into a seaside fish tavern. It’s rustic with an old charm . They do have music playing and a couple of TVs around the bar. That didn’t bug me though.
The food was delicious!! I would eat here 7 times a week if I could. I had the blackened snapper with some shrimp. I was surprised at how much flavor the snapper had.

The food is always great. Fresh and cooked when ordered. Friendly wait staff and good cold beer. My go to when I want seafood.

This place was amazing! It is a small building that’s located between car dealerships and really easy to miss. And when we got inside, it felt like a ghost town. The waiter politely greeted us as well took seats next to the bar. We were skeptical because the place was so empty. We placed our orders and drinks were there immediately. The staff made us feel welcomed. Jokes and good conversation as our meals arrived shortly after placing. The stuffed jalapenos were spicy and flavorful. Nice sized portions as well. The etufee( I know I probably misspelled it) was phenomenal. I’m not sure on what my coworker had but he inhaled the meal so fast… And tried to steal food off my order. We even ordered to go. This place was a nice surprise that really hit the spot. If you ever get a chance, go. It will be worth the effort.

We didn’t know they had crawfish! The spicy chili oil they use is awesome and I’ve never had it that way before. We normally come here for cheap gulf oysters and fried catfish. Low-key shuckin’ shack and we love it.

Pacific Star is a good place for seafood and cold beer. Our server was friendly and our food came out quickly. They have plenty of parking available and an outdoor area.

Second time I’ve been here in a month and it never disappoints! I took my mom today for the first time and she’s picky about her catfish. She absolutely loved it! What a great experience!
