With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients.

I absolutely love this little coffee shop. If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything I have had here has been absolutely wonderful. My favorite coffee is the Mexi Oat shaken espresso, 10/10. We tried two of their energy drinks today, twilight and fruit roll up and they were both fantastic!!
Anagha (I hope I spelled that right) is always so sweet and helpful!! She recognizes us and our dogs we always bring with us as soon as we pull up 🙂

Staff are friendly and extremely customer oriented. Coffee is amazing have yet to try the food, but I have had the chocolate covered espresso beans and they are soooo delicious I ate one whole bag in less than 24 hrs. ❤️. Will definitely be back. My new favorite coffee place

I have been here twice now and both of my experiences were exceptional and certainly did not disappoint. I recommend the hot salted gold whole milk latte beverage topped with Heath candy. It is absolutely great for a boost of energy at a fair price. Tastes wonderful with the right balance of sweetness with the coffee itself still being able to be tasted too. I really like how there is a drive-thru and a walk-up window. Other coffee shops nearby do not have the walk-up service, only drive-thru. Team member Madison is also a great employee and person who truly gives it her all and goes above and beyond. I cannot wait to come back for more excellent encounters. Thank you Human Bean Team for everything!

Really wonderful service through the drive-thru. Very sweet young woman who wanted to make sure that my coffee was good so she let me taste it and it was perfect. Definitely would go there again! Happy hour is 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. 15% off!!

I have allergies… they remember every time I pull up without me having to say anything. This is definitely my favorite place to grab a drink and snack.

I have always had a wonderful experience! One thing that stood out to me was Veterans Day though. Went to Starbucks first and was given a small iced coffee (no flavorings) with milk and sugar. It wasn’t good, lol. Then I figured I’d see if the human bean was giving free drinks, and they offered any free drink with any add. Imagine, a smaller, newer, business in the area offering more than a business who makes more than any other coffee place. And human bean TASTES better too. They are the only coffee shop I go to now and the customer service is a huge plus! So happy they are in Callaway and I hope they get all the business they deserve!

The Human Bean is the best place for coffee!! I’m from Montana, and was so excited to see a new coffee shop i have never heard of before! The staff is amazing and so friendly, and their coffee and food options are the best around town! My favorite is the pumpkin shaken espresso with oat milk! so yummy!!
