I love this place! An added Bonus is that it is Incredibly Close to our house. Almost every time I come here, I get the same thing, although I have ventured a little, and tried different items on the menu, and I can honestly say that I have never been unimpressed! They have the option to build your own sandwich or Burger, and for around 7 Bucks, it’s quite a great deal! I usually get a sandwich that is pretty similar to the Reuben, but I “drag it through the garden,” and usually add some purple onions and some lettuce. The bread is always soft and fresh if you eat it cold, and they are willing to heat or toast your sandwich to Perfection, depending on what you want. The Reuben is honestly my favorite! I get it minus the thousand island dressing, and usually have spicy mustard and a little mayo put on there, instead. We just went there this past week, and I left happy and full!

I’ve been going to Carl’s for nearly 40 years. Been a staple part of our family since forever. So many memories there. The sandwiches are amazing and the beer always cold. Definitely one of the go-to spots in Hutch for something to eat and to hang out for a while.

Great little place nestled in a super cool historic building in the downtown spotlight. In addition to the inviting atmosphere, the staff provided top notch service (and patience!), the appetizer my friend and I shared was delicious, and a reasonable assortment of beers are on draft. Prices are reasonable – I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.

Great service! Our waitress was very attentive! Loved my ham and turkey on an onion bun, warmed up, still as good as ever. Prices have gone up a little but still affordable. The fries have gotten better since I last visited!!
