Established 2020 I took over Rainbow kitchen in 2020. Coming from Hong Kong, I am used to high quality dim sum and authentic Cantonese cuisine. I opened this restaurant because I could not find a satisfying Chinese restaurant in Las Vegas. All of our chefs have over 40 years of experience in the industry and we only serve made to order dim sum. Menu will change according to different seasons and we focus on quality and not quantity. I hope that more and more people can enjoy authentic Cantonese cuisine in Rainbow Kitchen.

I’d to share some though about this place. I had came by two days ago and had a take out to try some of the items I saw on Yelp and it looked good. Took home Hug Gao, Shu Mai, Beef chow fun and 1/2 Roasted duck.
Loved it… Shu Mai was good, Hug Gao was great and Duck was tasty, I liked it different than Asian BBQ noodle on Jones which is the Best Roasted Duck for us here in vegas. Took my my back to dine in today, Order Shrimp egg roll, Steamed beef noodle, Hug GAO, Shu Mai, Pork spareribs/Taro, Fried salted stuffed buns and Tried their Peking Duck which was $50, about $10 more than the regular roasted duck would cost. Everything else was ok as expected except the Peking Duck… I was expected the Skin only cut off to serve but it came out sliced with meat attached, even I mentioned and shown the yelp picture to her of what style we wanted but still came out that way. Overall it was alright. Beef noodles, Hug Gao and Shu Mai is recommended for this place. Regular Roasted duck is ok too if you don’t feel like driving to Asian BBQ noodle ( Tung Ky ) on Jones/Spring Mountain. For me this place has the Best Hug Gao! in town by far. ❤️
Oh, The Interior dining area is typically Chinese restaurant standard, and the service was average
😉
Went back earlier today for brunch at around 2pm and still 80% occupancy rate. Love the food and service! Will come back again
The “Orange chicken” fire some of the best I have ever had. Salt and pepper octopus was one of my favorite dishes. Don’t sleep on the jelly fish noodles the texture and taste was next level.
I will be making this my go to spot whenever I’m in the area!
We sit down, and boom — a pot of tea appears. Not loose-leaf. Just… cheap tea. I didn’t think much about it because I was busy trying to breathe after the flight. Then, while we’re looking at the menu, one waitress swoops in like she’s selling timeshares and tries to force-feed us the daily special — salt and pepper lobster. I said no.
We ordered regular food. Since we were basically the only customers, it came out fast. But man… the food was just average, the portion was smaller, and honestly? Not as good as the last time. Maybe the lobster guilt affected the taste, I don’t know.
Then comes the bill. I look at it… and suddenly I’m paying $8 for the pot of tea we never drank. Like… ma’am… the tea was sitting there untouched like a decoration. And on top of that — 20% service charge. For what? For trying to upsell me lobster?
Never again. I’m not coming back. I don’t need surprise tea charges and emotional damage.
The food came out quickly, the service was very attentive, and the manager/owner even stopped by our table to check on us, which made the experience feel extra welcoming. Definitely a 5-star meal for us; we’ll absolutely be back!
It’s been nearly two years since I last visited Las Vegas, and I recently had the chance to go back with friends—nine of us in total! We were treated to an incredible experience at a Hong Kong–style fusion dim sum restaurant. Like I said: everything was amazing!
If you ever get the chance, don’t hesitate to try it. One reminder though—the more people you go with, the more variety and enjoyment you’ll have. That’s my only concern: how many of you will be joining us next time?
