We had a great waitress. She was friendly and fun. My husband kept trying to buy her shirt bc of the logo for thunder road. Lol. Loved the logo, you guys need to sell shirts! The service was excellent. The food was excellent. We were very impressed. We will be going back. ❤️

Love the clearly labeled menu here! Food is also great, it has been very fresh every time I’ve came here. Would recommend the hot chips and the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Prices aren’t bad at all either! Our waitress was very nice as well

Haven’t had their food but the people service prices and atmosphere was awesome. Everyone was friendly made you feel like you belonged. Loved the live music and the car show. I’ll definitely be going back. It’s great for all ages and has a dance hall and ice cream shop right beside it. Everything you need for an afternoon of food, drinks, music, ice cream, dancing, car shows, fun, friendly, and great memories and new friends. They also have a RC track to race at. Which would also be fun to spend time and make even more memories with your kids and family. Hands down a great time, place, and people to experience forsure. Prices on menu and drinks include tax so you know exactly how much you’ll spend. Hands down 5 star plus. Great experience and time really enjoyed it and all the people.

I walked in and sit down at a table and it was about 15 minutes later before anyone even acknowledge that I was even there the waitress come over she was nice I order a sweet tea cheeseburger tater tots another 15-20 minutes away by I have no food other people coming after me got their food and she came to me and told me that the printer had messed up and that she needed to redo my order . Eyewitness people that come in 15 minutes after me. They were not busy how was my last time going there.

We travel a lot all over the country. We always look for the local business to stop in for a meal or a beverage. This is that kind of place. Everything from milkshakes to bourbon. Food was served promptly and served hot. Service was outstanding. Only half a mile off I 285 in Davidson County NC. Easy on and easy off the highway. This spot is not to be missed.

Disappointed. The first time I came here, the hamburger patty was fresh and hand-formed. Tonight, however, the patty was clearly frozen and tasted like something you’d get at a hospital.
Service was also very slow, though it seemed like they were severely understaffed, so I understand that part. Still, the drop in food quality was disappointing. Not sure if they ran out of fresh hamburger or decided to cut back on quality, but either way, we won’t be back.

Just putting this out there….if you have not eaten at Thunder Road Bar & Grill, in Davidson County, you are missing out. The food is fantastic! I have had wings, hotdogs, pizza, bologna sandwiches and barbecue sandwiches. All are delicious. Service is awesome and they have a full bar.

I love it when I have a story behind a restaurant. I was on my way back to Thomasville from Winston and kept thinking. I wish there was something else in this area as far as a restaurant. I was really in a burger mood. I know about Cagney’s which is great .. I worked hard this morning and really didn’t want to wait until I was all the way back to Thomasville to eat.
So when I was in the direct epicenter of where, I wanted to find a place. I saw a strip mall kind of back and up to the left. I thought the odds are small of something being in this place. But I’ve never been up here, so I’m gonna look.
Sure enough there was a Thunder Road bar and grill. I had my apprehensions since I am a non drinker. But I guess the bar part is just open on. The bar part is just open evenings? So I wondered in this sharp but slight Is little sandwich shop. I was impressed the minute that I walked in the door without cleaning it was. The waitress was very prompt, friendly. Courteous and glad to answer my questions. And in a reasonable amount of time, I was served a true chargrilled burger on a brioche bun. Really nice. And they were happy to give me a salad instead of french fries. And I was happy to find out that it was true homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.
This was a really nice experience and a really good fast meal. Again, this is another one of those. I would love it if there was a 4.5…. I will be back. I really loved the taste of the burger. OH! My meal – salad and drink was less than ten dollars!!!!

This visit was made on 10/15/20. My co worker and I stumbled across this restaurant when I went the wrong way while looking for somewhere to go for lunch. Staff were wearing mask. They have every other booth closed off for social distancing. Staff were friendly and service was good. The burgers were AMAZING!!! They were juicy, thick, and had perfect grilled taste!! Man, I could definitely have another one. It wasn’t even far from my office. They close at 3pm right now due to business being slow and to cut back on cost. They sell ice-cream as well.
