It was my second time having food from El Salvador and the food here was better than most stuff I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was super delicious. The fried plantain was very soft and sweet, just how I like it. The ingredients on the breakfast plate complemented each other very well. The chicken tamal was amazing and the pupusa had so much flavor that I was wondering where all that flavor was coming from. The staff was also very friendly and helpful suggesting the most traditional and popular dishes. Definitely wanting to come back. Thank you for your hospitality!

Homey restaurant that serves up fresh homemade El Salvadoran food. Everything was fresh and good. The fried plantains with black beans and eggs with fresh tortillas I feel we’re meant for pupusas which works for me. CASH ONLY. Street parking only with locals as most customers like myself. Hole in the wall special!! And know the homeless try to come in and beg for money which is interesting because the paying customers just ignore. Provecho.

These Salvadorian pupusas are pretty good and priced fairly. They give plenty of red spicy salsa and curtido (cabbage slaw) too. Just make sure to order 30 min ahead of time if picking up for lunch.

The only con is when they are pretty busy they don’t really acknowledge the people at the counter, even though they see you waiting there.

Each pupusa is around $3 which is perfect for their quality and size here.

I saw this place walking by. What attracted me to it was the smell of the food being cooked. Went in and asked what type of food they sell. Person working front was very kind to show me the menu and name various options. Went ahead and ordered. They made my food fresh to order I was surprised. The wait was worth it, as the food was delicious. Definitely going back.

One of the WORST places I’ve gone to! Service is HORRIBLE! Food is not even that good. Not sure why over 4 stars. Casamiento was very cold. Menudo was super greasy. Tamal rarely had chicken and it was very watery. Our tortillas never came out. And they took 35 mins to charge us. Primer y ultima vez! Not sure why they got 4 stars.

Do you like Salvadorian food? Do you crave some bomb pupusas? Well this is the spot! Two of them and I’m full! It’s definitely a mom and pop shop but don’t be scared! Note: parking kinda sucks so prepare to look arround the neighborhood. You will definitely find me here again. You should check it out!

I started to visit this place since 1997. The pupusas are my favorite. I chose the mixed pupusas there’s so much flavor in them. I do recommend it. I imagine the beef soup is delicious. My sister had the breakfast plate which was also delicious! I am far away from them every time I am in California is the place to go. It’s a small place bring patience with you .
