Well, they charged extra for pepper relish, but when I got home my sub did not have them.
It had random Italian seasonings on top, but it was very flavorless.
The prices went up $2 per sub since my last visit.
And my $20 Groupon shows on the receipt only $18.80 was taken off…
31 cent credit card surcharge when I would have paid cash if I knew.
Took 10 minutes longer than expected.
Watched the guy wrapping my sub up unwrap it, play with the lettuce with no gloves and wrap it back up.
All in all it went downhill since I bought the Groupons 2 months ago, and the not so transparent pricing raises a lot of concerns.
This is the first time I’ve visited this location. The service was on point. The young lady was pleasant and patient, and she even served our food with a smile. I had the Pepperoni & Philly Steak Pizza, it was a nice size piece and it taste pretty good. Hubby, had a Philly Steak Sub w/French Fries, and Coke special. The sub was well loaded with meat and cheese, and extra Mayo… like he likes it. I’ll try the Sub next time with a few added toppings.
I was a little disappointed that they didn’t serve Parmesan Wings… I’ve had them a few times at the York location many years back, and was looking forward to tasting them again. I’m hoping that the York location still has them on their menu, because I’ll be stopping by sometime in the near future. God willing.
Thanks to the staff for a great time out with our daughter and gbabies.
But after visiting in January, it saddens me that I have to edit and update my review.
Hubby and I decided to take my mom out for lunch and wanted her to have an awesome experience enjoying a Steak Sub, one like Hubby had ordered 3 months prior, and that I too was looking forward to trying.
But, we we all sadly mistaken. It was no where near the experience we had. 3 Steak Subs and they were only half full. We had ordered 2 with peppers and onions, but you could barely make them out even in the little amount of meat that was in there.
Mom, enquired about the peppers, because you couldn’t see any in her’s and was told, “They are cooked into the meat”, but again you could not make them out.
What happened to the full sandwich that I had seen Hubby enjoy just 3 months earlier? I was reminded of the old Wendy’s commercial where the lady asked, “Where’s the Beef?”… And it cost $10 for the special, and what a special it was.
Needless to say, we were taken back a few squares with such disappointment, because we all were still hungry when we left, and had to stop and grab more food. This will be our last visit to this Parma’s.
The added photo, is of my sandwich.
