Food was delicious and lots of it, I could barely eat 1/2! Food was out fast. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Food isn’t good, save your money and go elsewhere. Ordered a $70 delivery order. Crab rangoons had a weird sour flavor, beef and broccoli sauce was also very sour, and tasted like mushrooms. Sesame chicken was extremely dry. Egg drop soup listed shrimp, peas and carrots, but came with mushrooms and imitation crab as well…disgusting. I’ll never be back.

Food is ok. Service is good. They have done and it seems clean. Smelled like cabbage but it is an eggroll house.

I’m from Chicago where we have Chinatown so I’m a bit of a snob and I have very high expectations when it comes to ordering Chinese food. This restaurant did not disappoint. I’m gluten free so I got sweet and sour chicken with sauteed not breaded chicken pieces. Jimin was very helpful ordering gluten free options. I got the beef and mixed vegetables in white sauce and everything was super fresh and tasted delicious. Great job and I highly recommend this place.

Regular customer for over 20 years and favorites were sweet and sour chicken, hot braised chicken, and green pepper beef. Chicken egg rolls are perfect and fried rice is delicious and not greasy. Live in West Des Moines now, and still have not found anything better!

I got charged $1.25 extra for fried rice instead of steamed white rice. In what world is this fried!? I called and got a man who had the ugliest attitude tell me that fried rice is adding egg peas and carrots and hung up on me. A PAYING CUSTOMER who spent $30 for barely any food. How dare you. You over charging on the nastiest Chinese food in town. My first and last time coming here. Wouldnt even feed this food to the homeless people that sit outside their doors. Do better! I’d advise just going to panda express.

A fine example of subpar Chinese-American food. What is intriguing is a place called “Eggroll House” serving these hybrid spring roll concoctions and passing them off as eggrolls. The crab rangoon tastes of mayo, is quite yellow and only takes up a small fraction of it, more of a deflated pocket. Overall expect either overly sweet, bland, or just strange food.
On the upside the food was prepared swiftly and was quite warm. Not sure how restaurants like this stay open, but given the area I assume the clientele simply haven’t had better.

I love the Egg Roll House! I’m a frequent customer, both dine-in and takeout/delivery. The wait times for your food are very short and the staff is friendly! The food is always delicious and at a good price! My favorite item on the menu is the Kung Pow chicken lunch special! If you don’t really like spice in your food the House vegetable beef is great too! If your looking for great Chinese food at a good price and in a hurry then I highly recommend Egg Roll House!

Ordered the sweet sour pork with rice on the side. The flavor was pretty good however the vegetables were al dente and the meat was extremely tough. The cashier was very nice and pleasant.

Yeah not sure what happened over the years but they definitely fell off from when I was in high school. You guys used to be SO good. My family would always order takeout and my mom and I would order the chicken and vegetable lo mein with fried rice and crab rangoons, my dad would order sesame chicken with fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was perfect and tasty and felt like we had sat down there to eat. Hi Jen was crunchy and the sauce never soupy, lo main had great flavor. Rice was perfectly cooked.
But I ordered this with my boyfriend now 5-6 years later and it is horrible. Everything tastes like it’s been sitting out all day or reheated from the fridge. Rice was hard, egg rolls were reminiscent of canned tuna flavor, the sweet and sour chicken was hard and soupy the vegetables undercooked, my chicken lo mein? Ramen noodles. Literal ramen noodles. It’s so sad. We paid for dinner for two it was $30-$35. Not worth it anymore.
