Súper great atmosphere. The place is great, great space, good drinks and variety. I eat the crispy fried chicken cracklings, NOT worth the price. If you ask me what would be the price for it, I’ll say less than $6.99. TRUST ME

This is my second time coming to this location and honestly, I was quite disappointed by different things first I made a reservation, but somehow our food took a very long time to come out and we did not enjoy many of our entrées or sides including the greens (they were really sweet), deviled eggs (really cold and missing flavor), and green beans (lacked seasoning). I think they only had one waitress for the whole night and that also caused a lot of delays. Our table was honestly too small for four people in the amount of food that we had so it just wasn’t an enjoyable experience. Overall, though the waitstaff was kind, and they did their best to be helpful and welcoming. The vibe in the restaurant was pretty chill for a weekday and it wasn’t too loud. I will say what we really enjoyed was the yams, salmon, fried chicken, and the meatloaf. They both get a five out of five for sure. These were so good, I forgot to get the photo lol!

I felt so fancy eating my $1 oysters and drinking my $3 happy hour frozen vodka and lemonade on the patio. Especially on a hot Texas day!
If I didn’t live so far away from this restaurant, they’d get sick of seeing me every week for happy hour.

Every time that I dine here it is an overall great experience. I have yet to try food here that wasn’t above average. They have a great happy hour and good selection of alcoholic beverages.

The tenders were so good. Nicely battered, juicy and tender. The fries are nicely seasoned and fried to perfection. The biscuit is on the sweet side (I like it). It pairs so well with the tenders and fries. I really enjoy the fried pickles. They are nicely seasoned as well and fried to perfection! The staff is friendly, very hospitable. Me and my boyfriend will definitely continue to come here.

My lady and I went for Happy Hour on 9/24/2025. We sat at the bar. We ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and a dozen wings. All for $1.00 each. Not our 1st time there. The food is always good. Brooke (Bartender) is very pleasant and efficient. Plenty of food to bring home. We make it a point to go there twice a month. We will be back.

When i came in yesterday I waited about 5 minutes before someone greeted me at the door. Then when i placed my order i paid cash. The person that i ordered with never returned my change. When she brought my food I said “where’s my change” her replied was they never brought you your change? Who exactly are “they” ; when you handle money with a person you return the change. The fried chicken skins were awful. The gumbo was superb.
