I went here with my family for dinner. The kiddos got kids meals which came with a tender, fries, toast, pickles and an apple juice. My wife and I both got the sandwich and we got an extra 3 piece tenders with fries and a small Cole slaw. There is only 4 seats (counter) in the place so it’s mainly for take out.
The sandwiches were really good, and the chicken was legitimately almost an entire chicken breast. I was worried because it was so thick that it would be dried out , but it wasn’t. It was very juicy and flavorful. The kids enjoyed their tenders and the sauces(robs sauce and ranch) were really good too. Fries were ok, nothing special. The Cole slaw was wonderful, fresh and flavorful. It’s definitely a bit pricey, but mostly worth it. Next time I’d likely skip on the sandwich ($14) and just get the tenders and a side of slaw. Good experience overall and we will be back at some point!

Just the best, hands down. I try every hot chicken spot that I can, and there seems to be a lot opening lately. Haven will always be my benchmark and not many of the others even come close to the quality of Haven Hot. I love the wide variety of heat levels so there’s something for everyone, and even “off menu” that will absolutely challenge anyone who loves spice and has a decent tolerance. Ordering off menu is a good guarantee that you’ll also get an order of the great banana pudding to help counteract the burning. I’ve been going to Haven since they were only one location in New Haven, and it’s still my absolutely favorite with the others not really coming close.

Dy’Sean was SO kind and SO helpful as we made our menu selections!! Amazing Customer Service!! We LOVED our food!! Incredible Chicken Tendies, a fabulous Tendie Slider, and their ranch dip is phenomenal!!

What happened? Where’d the spice go? Where’s the crunch? Why does this locations chicken taste like Cane’s all of the sudden? Now I’m not even getting what I ordered missing a tender when I tipped enough to get another tender added to the meal, spent $20 on 2 tenders no combo. The app offers no place to review the order so I came here and contacted support. Won’t be back.

Lower your prices. Absolutely ridiculous. 41 dollars for 2 combos. Cmon. It’s chicken its not steak. Unreal. It’s not even that great. The combo meals could be a bit pricey (about $20) but I think it was worth it.
Their chicken sandwich is a strong contender to the king of chicken sandwiches (Popeyes, in my opinion). A blast of flavor and juicy meat in every bite. The fries were also good – crispy and seasoned.
Mac and cheese was a great! Creamy, well-seasoned, and the mac had a nice texture.
Chicken and waffles are also a great bite.

That changed after I took my first bite and immediately noticed the bread was not toasted, causing the bottom bun to be completely soggy when I went to eat it. Buns don’t have a strong structure, so toasting them will prevent this from happening. Haven is 100% take-out and should know better than to make such a rookie mistake.
The fries are overcooked (which is a common error when the staff isn’t trained properly), so they taste more like oil than potatoes.
I paid just under $17 for The Sandwich Combo (which also comes with a can a soda). It’s overpriced, to say the least.
On the plus side, the staff is friendly, the turnaround was decent, and the Haven sauce had a great burn to it.
It’s very unusual for me to return to a restaurant that I gave a bad review on, but may do so some time in the future to see if they fixed said mistakes.

This is my goto place for a quick, no fooling around, ligit crispy chicken cravings. The menu is simple, and you don’t need a degree to place an order like other places. 5 levels of heat for chicken. And the best thing is that the sauces are not poured on the chicken after frying. The sauces are in the flour, and they get fried with chicken, so each and every bite has the taste. Certified Halal for those who prefer. They even have veggie options. Service is quick and you have the option of dine in or takeout. 5 stars all the way all day.

Grabbed a family meal with extra toast and made a bunch of sandwiches. The Medium is definitely spicy. The sauces are all flavorful as well. The chicken is super juicy and perfectly crisp. Will definitely be back again soon !
