After picking my son up from the airport, we wanted breakfast. We was referred by a friend and thank goodness we was. Talk about an amazing experience..wow. Came in for lunch and got the grilled cheese and veggie soup. It was okay. Waitress dropped off my food and never stopped by again. I flagged her down and asked for more unsweetened tea and at 1:30 pm was told they were out because they close at 3 pm they don’t make anymore. The place was still very busy with most tables full.

We are from out of town and decided to try Shelby’s for breakfast and we are so glad we did. Everything was fresh, great customer service and the food was DELICIOUS. Definitely recommend and will be eating there again.

Great place to stop in and grab a quick bite to eat on traveling passing through not far off the highway. Breakfast was great. Noticed that many locals come in and the staff knows them very well. Food was very plentiful for price.

I rarely go to Shelby’s, just once every couple of years when they were originally in Lawrenceburg and now in Frankfort. Yet after today’s visit I felt compelled to write a review. The food is above average, I’ve never had a bad meal there. But the service is well below average, and I remember it being that way in the past. The atmosphere is fine if there’s some crowd there. Shelby herself seems pretty nice, but some of the wait staff clearly do not want to be there at all. For those saying that they don’t want non-locals there, I say the staff aren’t always friendly to the locals either.

First time eating here and I gotta say everything was delicious. My wife & I split two dinners meatloaf & chicken livers both were awesome all of the 4 sides also very good and the desert crazy good French vanilla cake & salted caramel brownie. Shelby’s dinner knocks it out the park, keep doing what you doing & as for my wife & I we will definitely be coming back real soon. We can’t wait to try breakfast here. See you soon.
