Driving through small towns, most restaurants are unimpressive. This one was surprisingly amazing! Food was very good. The decor was outstanding! It was very nice and clean! They did such a good job with the aesthetics! So cute!

The food did not disappoint! We had the mushroom smash burger and it was the best burger I have had in years! The brussel sprouts were so tasty as well. You can tell they put thought into the menu and are executing perfectly. The ambiance was so surprising and wonderful. I couldn’t believe it was the same building as the old Donna’s Diner. This is worth the stop off the interstate and a special trip from the surrounding area! 10/10.

We stopped here today on our way home from visiting Devils Tower. The owner and the staff were all very nice, and the food and service was excellent. There are a lot of great looking items on menu, and hopefully we will get a chance to stop in again to try them out. Highly recommend for people to try out, well worth it.

Had a great meal, and service.
The steak was great the mashed taters were unbelievable and the brussel sprouts were always cooked really well.
Could do with a slightly wider whiskey selection but it’s a great new restaurant and I’ll definitely be back

Google reached out for a follow-up, and since The Odds Cookhouse has actually evolved since my last visit, it felt worth the “round two” report.
The traditional “cookhouse” was once just a detached utility building, but The Odds has transitioned that concept into a true communal hub. It has moved beyond being just a place where food is made to becoming the social anchor of the neighborhood—trading basic utility for a genuine sense of belonging.
Most spots eventually hit a plateau, but the kitchen here is on a clear upward trajectory. The flavors remain consistently sharp yet increasingly complex, suggesting a team that’s constantly refining their profiles. Each visit somehow tastes like an upgraded version of the last.
There’s a distinct satisfaction in watching this place move. The flow of operations is a masterclass in controlled chaos—rhythmic, efficient, and high-energy. I’ve found myself dropping in just to be around the staff and soak up that momentum; it’s rare to see a team operate with this much synergy.
The Odds has moved past being a standard restaurant. It’s a destination for anyone who appreciates a tight operation and food that refuses to stay stagnant.
