Sucks! Drive thru guy said they only had spicy chicken left. Like seriously you can’t bake some that aren’t spicy? You have half an hour before closing too but want to say you guys are closed in “3 mins” for tonight?! It’s 10:27 it closes at 11:00. Like seriously since they opened up it’s nothing but horrible and I’ve only gone there twice because service sucks and my spouse was ordering food there and called me to asked what I wanted and I told my spouse I really don’t like their service and yup it sucked again. Thank the heaven my spouse went to another up the road! Great service to the other restaurant because they will make chicken that “Aren’t SPICY ONLY” unlike Popeyes, they “do” serve “NOT ONLY SPICY CHICKEN” but tell customers “ONLY SPICY” at their fast food restaurant. FALSE ADVERTISING, I say! Fix your menu if you’re an only spicy chicken service PLEASE!
And to the owner, do not apologize to this post. TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES! Because my post isn’t the only one that says your service is horrible!

As this location is brand new there is a limited menu, but, it made the drive through very quick at prime lunchntime. The fries were fantastic, seasoned just right, and very potatoe-y. The sandwich was perfect. The crispy was crumbly, not hard, nearly melts while eating. The chicken itself tasted like actual fresh chicken, not recooked from frozen. I will recommend, and will return.

Once in awhile I go there .. get chicken and every single time.. its dry and old like it’s past its holding time..lazy workers who don’t want drop fresh chicken…30 dollars for an 8 piece that is dry ..yea this is the last time I’ll spend my money there..we are the reason they have a job.

Girl at window was not too Friendly, Nor Her Coworker in the Kitchen had me pull to the Next window & to Give them 5 minutes because they were really busy. Which in Fact that wasn’t True at all, only a couple of people in the lobby. Took Over 5 minutes to come to me, as they then were constantly taking orders thru Drive thru, helped 3 other cars & handed out Coupons as I watched through my rear view mirror…. When the girl finally came to attend to me she was really Sassy as her Male co worker, asked her if I can get some coupons as well took her another 2 minutes & then she said that they had NONE AS I WATCHED HER HAND THEM OUT. She Stated her Manager told Her they Were EXPIRED, with the Whole Rolling of the Eyes behind it all…. Remind Me Why I Don’t Go there??? Service is Unacceptable

Popeyes is a fairly new location in Willmar. I have gone multiple occasions ordering online and picking up the food through drive through. My all-time favorite thing to get is a plain bacon and cheese chicken sandwich. We finally tried dining in, and was impressed, but unimpressed at the same time. The atmosphere was very welcoming, but there were no cashiers/workers inside that greeted us, or knew that we were in the store. We waited for about 5 minutes before another customer let us know that we needed to order at the self-service kiosks, as they had waited at the counter for longer looking for service, rather than self-service. We had a physical coupon to use, but luckily the self-service kiosk allowed us to put in the coupon code (nice!). I like my chicken sandwiches without any mayo or pickles, and it was unfortunate that we could not make the same customizations at the store, rather than being able to remove the toppings online. The order surprisingly came out in less than a few minutes. Food was great, but again, unfortunate that I had to scrape off the mayo and pickles I could not ask or choose to have taken off. Overall, this location is more customer-friendly if you order online, and picky eaters may have a hard time with ordering in store. I must say that the food however is wonderful!

Chicken tenders were fresh and tasty with a light crunchy batter. Excellent! Wings were good with a dry rub and a dipping sauce that was a little zesty.
Strawberry dessert pie was flavorful twist on the apple pies of old.

Today was the worst customer service I have ever received at a restaurant. We waited for an online order at the drive thru pickup window for 15 minutes, no problem. The order was wrong, we went inside to talk to them and got the rudest employee I’ve ever come across. He blamed me for ordering it wrong, when I showed him the receipt on my phone he said he didn’t care, it’s all the same to him, which he repeated multiple times with his hands in the air or shrugging his shoulders. He told us if we wanted him to fix it we had to wait another 13 minutes for more chicken. He was rude, argumentative, said he didn’t care and he’s only getting paid to work there. Place is always dirty. Food is decent when they get it right.

Horrible customer service I asked the lady for some sauce she handed my food and ignored me. I drove back to the first window the cashier gave me 1 sauce for 2 meals and refused to give me more said it was $1 dollar each and started laughing she could of offered sauce and informed e there was a charge which I could of paid but not laugh at me. If one couldn’t speak English she could have talk to me in Spanish not ignore me first and last time here.
