I don’t understand where all of these high praise reviews for the shrimp cocktail are coming from. Perhaps the batch i got was not a good one, but I did have to wait for her to finish preparing it so it forsure was made fresh. I ordered a elote entero (whole corn) while I waited for the cocktail to be made. $28 for the two. The corn unfortunately was unsatisfying to me. I understand that it is a current trend for people to just leave corn sitting in a tub of warm water all day and that is very clearly what was going on here. Which sucks because the kernels on the corn were huge and sweet. But all that was washed away with every bite with kernels gushing warm water all over the place. Just drenched in water. I expect this from a small cart vendor but not a store front. On to the shrimp cocktail. I asked for this to go. Made it home and poured it into a bowl. Eager I dove in, Disappointment. It has no flavor. It is as if you were to take the ingredients, onions, tomatoes, shrimp, avocado etc… and dump them in a pool of water and then serve that. The shrimp are soft and smooshy and oddly no lime, to be tasted or had to squeeze over the cocktail. So I dump my bowl back into the container and i wont be finishing this cocktail. (2nd photo)
I used to come here once a week for the shrimp cocktail before the change of ownership. Unfortunately the cocktail recipe wasn’t exchanged. I waited to give this place a try and I am very disappointed. I hate wasting money. Wish we had places where we can pay our hard earned money to and love the food given in exchange.

Place was very clean, the owners where very kind and the drinks and food came out fast! The menu has a nice variety, drinks desserts and mexican snacks. We will definitely be coming back again!

Stopped by for a mangonada and an esquite con Hot Cheetos. Both were really good, the mangonada was refreshing and the esquite had good flavor and heat. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. Nice spot for a quick snack.

I found this place by accident I was looking for a good taco spot I can sit n relax . Being from Long Beach ca I wanted some thing fresh . My first impression going inside was wow this place looks good & authentic I spoke to one of the girls that was preparing the food she stated the fish was fresh . As soon as I tasted the ceviche I knew this place was No Joke ! Reminds me of Cali style sea food . Fresh with amazing flavor . Trust me it’s a must try . I been to couple of sea food spots But by far this is the spot to go .good food good hospitality good vibes . All they need is live music . My new spot when I come to visit Texas .
