Great restaurant! Our server, Brennan, was sweet and energetic. They really stress that everything is made from scratch. We had 2 other people stopping to ask how our meal was and if we needed anything. Very good service. Cool atmosphere too. They have music Thursday nights sometimes and on Friday and Saturday nights as well as Saturday brunch. We easily got a reservation online for lunch on a Thursday but weekend evenings are harder.
Everything we ate was delicious. I highly recommend the whipped feta. The pretzels are awesome too but I was a little annoyed with our 12 pretzel serving (enough for at least 4 people). Appreciate there is a half serving which would have been nice to know. I’m not sure why there would be a 12 pretzel serving on the menu. My butternut squash and kale salad with salmon was amazing as well as my husband’s chicken katsu sandwich. Not gonna lie, the milk bread taunted me. Lol
Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Both items we ate were great! The steak was done perfectly and the burger was flavorful. Atmosphere was fun and lively. Would highly recommend!

This placed sounded great when I looked over the menu, and the reviews. I was sat right away. Great atmosphere, indoor stage and live music. Place was busy, bar was full along with most of the seats. Service was an issue. No uniforms, wasnt sure who my server was. Was a young boy, untucked oversized button down. I wasnt sure if he was ordering drinks at the bar or was my server. I had to ask for napkins, share plates, silverware. I got the pretzels, pretty good. I tried the ribeye dish, was good but not alot of food for the price. Id come back and try some other items on the menu. Certainly a cool place to grab a drink.

The food was genuinely delicious, and we were excited to enjoy each course, but unfortunately the service didn’t quite match the quality of the meal. Our appetizer came out at the same time as the entrées, which took away from the experience of enjoying everything in the order it was meant to be served. We also had to ask for silverware when dessert arrived.

Brayden was our server, and while he was kind, he definitely needs a bit more training and attention to detail. I work as a server myself at a new restaurant here in Nashville, so I noticed a few things that could be easily improved with guidance.

On a positive note, the manager was amazing—very attentive, came over to apologize, and made sure we were taken care of. Our server also apologized, and I believe with some coaching he’ll grow into a great server.

Overall, despite the service hiccups, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere, and we *will* be back. Thank you for making things right and showing genuine care for our experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely wonderful!

Went for brunch and got the breakfast burrito — DELICIOUS! The crispy potatoes are the perfect touch, perfectly complimenting the eggs, sausage and avocado! The provolone fondue completed a perfectly constructed burrito! We sat in an outdoor, covered patio that was comfortable and all the natural light was a huge plus! There was live music that added to the relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend Culinary Dropout! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Reserved a seat but I don’t think it was needed. Seating is comfortable. The scenery is nice. I really like the artist collage behind band area with the large portrait of Johnny Cash. The staff was accommodating and attentive. The manager took the time to stop by and explain a dishes ingredients and preparations.

I was hosting a business meeting and dinner in Franklin, TN on 11/12/25. I chose Culinary Dropout due to it’s amazing location in The District in Franklin, which was close to our meeting place and hotel. They were able to accommodate our group of 35 in their enclosed/heated patio. Megan B, the event manager was so helpful during the process and was present the night of the event. The GM, chef and wait staff all introduced themselves before the guests arrived….talk about Southern Hospitality! My experience was 5 stars….from booking, engaging wait staff to the delicious food. 100% will return and recommend you check them out too….with or without a large party! Thank you Culinary Dropout team for a wonderful dining experience!

GOING BACK! Sometimes with a new place you get excited and then are disappointed, either with the food or service or both. Culinary Dropout is not that place. We went for the happy hour and stayed for dinner. (Note the happy hour is only offered at the bar inside.) On a Friday night, it was very busy but the service was still good. The cocktail selection, as others have mentioned, is solid. Lots of different options. My daughter and I had the perfect margarita and the full moon. They were both excellent. They were letting people sample their branded pinot noir that they just released. It was pretty good. We also shared the pretzel bites and the prime rib sandwich. There are 12 large round pretzel balls that come in an order so it is enough for 3-4 people to share. The prime rib sandwich was also large enough to share with two people. It was more of a French dip but delicious. We were celebrating my birthday and they let me choose a dessert off the menu, which was very nice. We had the mud pie. It was fantastic. Live music started after 6 pm. They have an outside area that is covered so you can still sit out there in less than ideal weather. Only negative, which has been noted, is it is quite loud, even outside with not a lot of people. We plan to go back soon with our husbands soon. Highly recommend. Make a reservation if you are going on a weekend.
