I frequently visit the Starbucks location adjacent to the Fairgrounds. Despite its usual busyness, the staff consistently demonstrates kindness and professionalism. I always receive excellent service, and my children are also treated very well during our visits. I particularly appreciate that my coffee is prepared extra hot and sweet, just as I prefer. This particular location, much like many others, consistently strives for perfection. The coffee is excellent, the location is convenient, and the staff is wonderful. I wholeheartedly recommend both Starbucks and this specific location.

This is by far my favorite Starbucks in the Puyallup area. It’s beautiful inside, very spacious. Always kept clean. I don’t think I’ve ever gone there and not seen an employee wiping down tables or sweeping the floor.
There are a lot of places to sit, including probably the last comfortable chairs in all of Starbucks! Seriously, these leather chairs and the decision to keep them helps differentiate, and elevate, this store from all the others.The light fixture above the “family size” table is really cool. As is the roller coaster art by the front door. It does not feel cookie cutter or corporate. It’s distinctive.
Every time I have visited the employees have been friendly and engaging. Every time. Last time I was there someone drew a smiley face on the lid of my cup. This used to be a commonplace practice but now it is a rarity. It’s amazing how much a small gesture like that can make a big difference.
I typically don’t use the drive through but it definitely gets a lot of traffic. I do use the parking lot and it is much too small for this busy store. Both the overall parking lot and the individual parking spaces need to be enlarged.
In short, I actually enjoy going to this store. I go out of my way, and pass several other Starbucks, to visit here. It feels like a Starbucks of old. And I like that! I think you will as well.

One of the biggest, cleanest, most chill Starbucks we’ve been in. Right across from Gold Gate to Fairgrounds, short walk. Large bathrooms, very clean. Everyone was so polite, and super efficient. Great for people watching. ☕️

So, I gave this particular Starbucks a week long review period as I was in the area for a week long work event and ate lunch here everyday. That being said, it exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The service was fast (very fast) and all of the team members were knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. I changed one of my orders twice to get extra stars and then changed it again at the point of brewing and the barista was friendly and had no problems with accommodating me.
The food is the food. Basic Starbucks so nothing to rave or get upset about, it is what it is
The only negative thing that I count against this particular Starbucks is the atmosphere. One day the patrons were yelling and it appeared to be acceptable or at least no body asked them to quiet down and on another day a customer had three dogs in a baby stroller and thought it was a good idea to sit in front of the register with a friend cooing over the dogs holding up the line until finally I had to ask them if they were waiting to order. They were not. They had already ordered and nobody asked them to move to the side so customers could order.

I have been to this location several times for over a year now and I can say this is the best Starbucks location I’ve been to that gets my drink right, and I personally don’t think I do anything fancy. If anything, while I may ask for specific things, they are downgrades like “no water” or “no foam” and a specific temperature which they get perfect every time. Hot, but drinkable, never have it been shot it burns my younger like other places. I might go here only 1-3 times a month but I don’t go to any other Starbucks or coffee/tea places.
I don’t usually stay so I’m unfamiliar as to what the normal atmosphere would be. I do live nearby and can say any time something is going on at the Fairground, it can make the outside area and parking lot annoying to get around as people just stand around the middle of the sidewalk as normal, rude, and oblivious people do, or they drinve around looking for Fair parking which is not allowed. But that’s only some times out of the year.

Great new addition to the Puyallup Fairgrounds area.
The natural lights makes for a great open space that is well lit. The furnishings and decor are very nice and make the interior very welcoming. Great Starbucks design all over this place. There is a great light fixture in this store that will be sure to catch your eye. Lot of wonderful outdoor seating as well.
Staff were friendly as always and the food and drinks are consistent with the Starbucks quality we’ve all come to expect.
One of the big bonuses about this place is the large parking lot.

I went thru the drive through I ordered my drink but I forgot to asked them if they could split one of my drinks they told me that due to their new policy they can’t split Their drinks anymore I was really confused because I have asked before nobody told me about the “ policy” The girl that handed me to drink Was really sarcastic and rude to me also was rolling her eyes I felt very uncomfortable and discriminated and after I left I called to talk to a Manager I felt like my complaint wasn’t taken serious I will never go to this Starbucks ever again because of my experience I go to Starbucks a lot I never had this experience before very upsetting unfortunately

I have been coming to this location for years! They consistently exceed my expectations, communicate any potential issues; and on the rare occasion they have had an error always make it right and take accountability.
They have consistently had impeccable customer service over all shifts, with new team members and old.
I have come from bartender, to supervisor in a extremely high volume Entertainment venue; and these are the standards we strive for. Great job l!
