Great little ice cream stop!
Very high quality soft serve.
Not overly sweet, and served very cold, so it melts slowly.

Lousy service. Three cars in front of us should not take almost an hour to get to the window. This is just ridiculous. Won’t be here again. Step up your game management and get people that actually want to work. Or people that work faster and not be on their phones every two minutes. Chop chop

Tastee Treet has always been a hometown favorite. During the month of June they have my favorite soft serve, key lime and lemon twist. No longer living in the area it had been six years since I had been able to enjoy my June favorite. We planned our trip back to Taylorville so I could enjoy one. They had the Keylime available and the lemon but not the twist yet. The girl was kind enough to improvise and stack lemon, key lime, lemon, key lime.They have a large choice of sundaes, shakes, malts, F5’s which is like a Blizzard, only much better. They have flavors of the month. A well known local establishment loved by many. If you haven’t been there, you are missing out..

Had to stop for the Banana and Raspberry flavors in May. The lemon is also iconic, and I usually buy quarts to take home. Best thing about the ice cream is it doesn’t freeze into a block when left in the freezer. Still easy to eat with a spoon and always delicious. A must try if you’re in Taylorville.

Waited in line for 45 minutes, one employee sitting on phone the entire time not helping out while others are super slow and fairly rude. The ice cream is good but for the time and clear management failure, it just isn’t worth it anymore. Management really needs to work on efficiency and work ethic here.
