Hands down, the best meal of our entire trip to Woodland Park. My daughter and I loved the atmosphere. Kirsten, our waitress was wonderful, and attentive. The gnocchi was the best I have ever had. The pears with the blue cheese was phenomenal. My daughter’s lasagna was delicious. She said it was her favorite she’s ever had. We got a tiramisu and a cannoli to go, and can’t wait to dig in!

Vegan Review!
My son and I dined at this restaurant for lunch today. As a vegan mother with a picky omnivore child, it can be a bit difficult to find a restaurant that meets both our wants/needs. Not only did this restaurant have various vegan options, but our server was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for my dietary needs!
Everything we ordered was incredible! I had two vegan entrees (chicken Parmesan and Lunch Special Pesto Pasta), sorbet, and vegan chocolate torte. Everything was delicious!!! My son tried my vegan chicken parm and not only loved it, but couldn’t even tell it was plant-based protein!
Love to see a restaurant that uses Meati products!
Would highly recommend to any vegan or non vegan looking to enjoy a great meal in Woodland Park!

Our server, Nikki, was absolutely wonderful. She had the best personality I’ve ever seen and I’ve been a server myself for 6 years. She severed the whole restaurant by herself with the most wholesome and sweet smile. The drink she made was very very good! So cute too! The food was mouthwatering. It was big enough to split and be full. I loved the atmosphere. Wonderful. Would go back.

We had a wonderful lunch at Mountainara. The gnocchi gorgonzola with pear was a fun combination of flavors. Very creative and filling. The lemon marscapone cake was delish. I’m super picky about Italian food so the Alfredo dish that my wife ordered was not traditional butter and Parmesano but mostly tasted of just cream. Not my cup of cheese but, she enjoyed the dish. Service was exceptional. A very clean, and welcoming atmosphere. A nice break from the hustle of travel. Highly recommend.

We ordered the carbonara and ziti. Both were good, although the ziti was warm when it was served. Enjoyed a salad with strawberries, figs, and walnuts, it was tasty. Bread was very good. Had some cannoli’s boxed up to enjoy at home, they were excellent. Seating is very tight but we sat down quickly. Service was excellent! Only complaint was the price. Price of entrees should include a small salad and six dollars for a fountain soda is very steep. Overall a very good experience, thank you for a lovely dinner!

Mountainara Cucina Italian restaurant is a quaint place to dine in Woodland Park Colorado. They have one price menu for lunch and dinner. Portion size were good. I order the seared tuna salad and spaghetti carbonera and couldn’t finish either. It was enough for two people to share. The veal marsala was nice. The veal was lightly battered and had a good crisp to it, paired with the mushroom marsala was delicious. The spaghetti carbonara was legit. Light yet full balanced in flavor from the egg sauce and fresh pancetta. The tiramisu is made in house. If you’re in Woodland Park, check out Mountainara. Service was good; Madison was very attentive and took great care of us. There wasn’t a long wait and the food came out quick.

Sara our server was awesome. Service was quick. Atmosphere is spot on. Food is amazing. I got the chicken parm and it was so delicious. My husband got the veal and he said it was yummy. Bread and oil is where it’s at. Highly recommend! Make sure you have a reservation as we did – they are busy for a reason.
