Nice pub and grill. Grills and fryers are right behind the bar. Big flavors for a small cooking area. The cook was working hard, bartender was friendly. The Wisco Kid burger and fried shooms were great. Met my dad for lunch and would definitely go back for another meal.

Is it possible to give a place higher than 5 stars??? If so – this place deserves it. Love the dive atmosphere but the show stopper was by far the most delicious food I’ve had while visiting Wisconsin. The chef behind these masterpieces is genius. Wish I had more pictures to share but we inhaled the food too fast.

This place is simply amazing. We went on a Friday night for a fish fry. We had the standard cod and fries – best in lake country! Had chicken wings as an appetizer and they and fried and grilled – excellent!! I would highly recommend. Very friendly staff. The locals love it, too. Get there and try it!

Wow! A fun local hang out with delicious food. Cheese curds are uniquely crispy and great with the jalapeño ranch! The Salad #18 is ALMOST too beautiful to eat…but too DELICIOUS not to eat! A year later… updating my review… always delicious foods, always pleased with the quality and culinary creativity of chef. Enjoy the welcoming friendly attentive staff.

Food is very good and the staff is awesome. It’s very crowded and they could definitely use more room. They charge $.50 extra for each item that is to go, as well as $.50 for dipping sauces that are already listed as being included, neither of which are told prior. Not that it’s a huge deal, but it can add up and is frustrating, so we tend to get takeout elsewhere even though we love most of their food

The blackened walleye and the baked cajun cod were excellent! Perfectly cooked! The potatoes were a solid side. We got the grilled wings as an app. Some of the best wings I’ve had in a long time. Way to go, Woody’s, I will definitely be back.

Yay – finally a bar & grill with more vegetarian options!!
We are really pleased about their protein options for their pub sandwiches! You can choose beef, chicken or a big portobello mushroom. We only wish more (like every) restaurant offered this choice. Whether you eat meat or not, or just don’t feel like having it on occasion, it’s nice to have the choice of a non-meat option – and with the fun variety of all the great pub sandwich toppings & fillings.
(Our even bigger wish is that all restaurants everywhere would also offer a black bean, walnut, or impossible / beyond burger as a protein, too, to replace any meat option.)
Thanks for the fun menu and nice sized sandwiches, Woody’s!! You guys are good at this! We’ll be back.

My family and I have been going here since they opened a few years ago and I can’t even count how many times I’ve been disappointed, that’s because it’s always amazing. Drink are always on point especially their Bloodys and the food is probably the best quality bar/grill food I’ve ever had. I’d give 5 stars across the board except It’s a little small so seating can be a challenge once in a blue moon. If you’ve never been here before you should take my advice and go. Also, Im a hard critic and I’m not afraid to be honest.
