I have been getting pizza here for 45 yrs and absolutely nothing has changed since, it is one of the top three places for the best pizza in brantford, period! Tastes exactly the same as as it always has, it doesn’t come with “dip” never has because it doesn’t need it , no good pizza does if you need dip you don’t deserve to eat here. Quality and good ingredients cost money if that bothers you stick with the chains that use cheap ingredients, but that is no reason to give Maries a one star. As I have said in the past I would wait 3 hours for Maries over free from any chain!

Just got home from the original Maria’s .
Ordered a large pizza. The guy who served me was a really nice guy, the kind of guy that any business would want at their front counter.
Ordered a large, a thinner slice but not too thin, extra sauce, pepperoni, bacon, hot peppers and pineapple. It took about 15-20 minutes.
Simply put, they slammed it right out of the park.

When I was a kid we moved to Branford in 74, and Maria’s was hands down the best pizza I had ever had or have ever had since. I just moved back to Branford and decided to order one up and man what a disappointment; the crust was like crunchy cardboard, pretty sure they used canned mushrooms instead of fresh mushrooms, the cheese and sauce just isn’t the same as it used to be, and it was extremely salty. I guess the secrets of the good pizza have died with the old ladies who used to make it. No problem with the service whatsoever, but the product is what I came for and the product is why I will never return.

Pick up the best pizza anywhere from Maria’s original. I’ve been eating this stuff since they first opened when I was a kid. Still the same, still excellent. Family run. Today it’s run by the son and his family.
Only go to the original Maria’s stay away from Maria’s west.
